Basically, there were two factors involved. . 1) Rimiru at the time was considerably more powerful than the one who named Gabiru originally. 2) Since that individual died, it seems to have allowed for anyone more powerful to overwrite the original naming. . Since normally anyone simply speaking another's name would likely be much less powerful than the namer (because it takes a good chunk of magicules to even accomplish it), nothing would happen even with the death of the original namer. But in this case, merely speaking Gabiru's name coming from Rimiru, and with the original namer dead, it overwrote the original naming using Rimiru's power. . Basically, you can always rename someone with a NEW name, if you're more powerful than the original namer. But, it seems that if the original namer dies, you can do the same thing just by speaking the monster's original name, if you're more powerful than the original namer was. . Either that, or Rimiru just has a weird hidden skill that lets only him do that. Maybe because he's a reincarnation?

a fun fact i found, Gobta (the goblin guy) despite not being gifted the souls and not strong enough to become a demon lord, is one of the strongest due to his unique skill "Union" which is be able to match his partner, in this case, Ranga. So he's as strong as ranga when he fights along him despite still being weaker lmao.

Even thought the ranks and numbers do not represent the values given in the novel, but yeah, Zegion is considered 2nd after Diablo. BUT technically neither Zegion nor Apito were regular insects monsters to begin with.

Yea zegion becomes a power house and he is personally trained by veldora. Rimiru found zegion all beat up so he covered him with some of his slime body and put him in the labyrinth where he slowly became the strongest being alive in labyrinth.

in the Web Novel, which is where some of this video's info comes from, Rimuru basically ends up an unbeatable God. He can literally destroy and create worlds and also has complete control over time. He actually went back and watched his own death in "our world"... But I don't know if the Light Novel / Anime will go this route too.

It wasn't necessarily the naming that made him so powerful. It was the fact that Rimiru used his own slime (not a potion) to heal the bug...THEN named it. He fundamentally altered the bug's physical nature with his own OP slime body, and then gave it a name from his absurd magicule reserve. And because of the integration of Rimiru's "flesh" into it, each subsequent power boost made it even more powerful at a steeper rate than the rest. . Think of him like a kind of...slime-borg.

As far as I know from the Web Novel, the only one's capable of fighting Rimuru are Guy Crimson / Veldenava. But even they get left behind at some point.

So Ranga has Ultra Instinct, Shion has a Susanoo, Haki and pretty much a Sharingan, what am i gonna see next XD Ok now Benimaru has Amatarasu Diablo also has a Haki, and Thought Domination is just more Sharingan / Rinnegan stuff Zegion has Illusion World, so just Genjutsu, and also just Conquerer Haki XD. Also another Haki, and more Sharingan Rinnegan stuff Everyone with Space-Time control and Spatial Travel is just a rinnegan more or less. What I meant was Dagruel's powers are not yet revealed in LN but we do know he tied with Veldora. I understand that Veldora wasn't as strong and skilled with Magicule when he fought Dagruel but still he tied with Veldora, a true dragon. That's why I said Dagruel is a good contester since you practically said that Zegion is stronger than all other octagram except those few.

Volume 17 of the novel tells you everyone's level if I remember correctly Ben Diablo n Zeg are bout equal and all 3 are god level hell Ben had to have kids before his evolution to keep his orge clan going Shion n ranga round out the top 5

@@edusoares9407 sorry, i cant give you information about this Since i dont waste my time reading that WN.. i read WN until i knew it will be in manga.. Benimaru defeated diablo in WN but in LN, diablo is no.1 strongest subbordinate of rimuru and Zegion rivals him and i am not sure who is strong between them.. However i believe benimaru ranks top 6.. or top 3.. top 6 because primoridial trio maybe strong than him

I knew it, Benimaru is a diva.

I'll say SSS tier are Benimaru, Diablo and Zergion SS+ Tier the Demon Trio, Shion SS Tier are Souei and Ranga+Gobta and the Demon Trio two subordinate each + Venom. At that point it's hard to tell the rest since all of them had the connection to food chain. One grows and the rest also power ups. it's pretty broken.
