I was disappointed that they left it out. It leaves in a lot of setup without a punch line. Also makes it sound like the scheming was all Frey's manipulation without Milim having much agency. The novel makes it out that the raw bell pepper were worse then having to put up with Clyaman. Milim sends dragon faithfully to tempest for cooking lessons straight after. The bell pepper is also call back to why Milim succumbed after eating Rimaru's honey rasngun attack.

Tensura has become one of the greatest isekai animes of all time, glad you're giving it the love it deserves! Can't wait for the movie next year!

during the scene with Frey and Milim talking about her "acting" there was a part about her doing an "I did it" motion with her fist under the table when she was convinced she completely fooled Clayman, although this was only shown in the manga and I don't quite remember it ever being said in either the LN or the WN but it was quite hilarious that I actually assumed they'd include it in the anime

It wouldn't work in LN. We watch from Rimuru point of view and he didn't noticed it. In manga we can see background and some authors place easter eggs there. Still, it is a shame that it wasn't showed, kinda wanted to see anime only reaction (if they noticed).

If you think that was bad, look up the fight between Mayuri and the espada. He makes it so it feels like centuries for him to die, his sword very slowly edging its way through his hand into his chest to pierce his heart By the time he died he's spent hundreds of years wishing to die already.

How can you say that, when the anime literally skipped this part of Clayman's death... They didn't convey it properly and had to be mentioned in a separate KZread video for you know about it, for anime only watchers. So not a great adaptation...

@@uz.f1746 their 2 separate statements. Both can can be true at the same time. The adaptation had to obviously cut somethings. I wish they would have had showed that more, but I’m pretty sure there is some mention of it in the anime. We just don’t see it unfold from claymans POV.

Rimuru is a true demon lord, with the way he handled Clayman. The spell thing + thought acceleration is a terrifying concept because he's effectively time on target world ending artillery with no warning....potentially. Plus he's got satcoms in the middle ages essentially and the ability to rapidly deploy anywhere at a moments notice...he's any military commander's wet dream of power projection.

Not to mention his ability to manipulate souls. He could literally kill and revive Clayman or put his soul in a static object or something. Just absorb the physical body then toy with the soul. Afterall, there are a lot of torture methods plus thought acceleration just for Clayman to be revived. That's also just Rimuru's skills. With Diablo's mind manipulation (and other skills) there's a lot of possible ways to deal with Clayman.

Clayman also had some orb of souls that his master (that one demon lord that died forgot name) gave him but rimuru also stole it which prevented the super beam? Well he had thought acceleration before he awakened, it just went from thousands of times to millions of times when he awakened. I think it increased even further later as he continued to power up as he powered up his followers. Also Luminous showed him how to grant holy power to worshippers though she said he would learn of it by himself soon anyways and this also gave him more power as more worshippers worshipped him (Rimuru only showed Adele that he could get his holy powers back by worshipping Rimuru but after that worshipping Rimuru as a goddess just spread from there and Rimuru actually said to himself "why a goddess").

So by inflicting Thought Acceleration on a weak enemy who is no threat to him Rimuru can basically nail them with a Tsukiyomi on steroids? That's some scary shit.

You didn't mention the gall beretta had to address Guy directly by Rouge when his subordinate bar Rain and Misery can't really move in his presence

Well they did blame Clayton for the Orc attack and the invasion by Falus which killed a lot of them forcing Rimuru to become a true demon lord to resurrect them. I don't think it takes being a monster to do that, just caring for his friends and his followers.

​​@@jacobgracey9069 I think it was over a hundred of his followers that died including children, also in the novels Rimuru killed all 20,000 of the invaders from Farmus (or Falus depending on translations) instead of the minimum 10,000 needed to awaken as said in the anime. The novels and even the manga drummed up the hatred a lot more but also showed a scene when he descended to a soldier, brought back his pendant with the picture of the soldiers family to him that he had dropped and said "rest in peace" before killing him and the soldiers last thoughts was that God exists and he just saw God (there was a scene of how that soldier did not believe the God Luminous exists given how unjust the invasion was and how their leaders was acting). The anime also changed the Megiddo attack from concentrated solar light from droplets in the sky acting as lenses to bullets of water or slime, the light being reminiscent to killing ants with a magnifying glass and being seen by the soldiers as bright lights from the sky hence the wrath of God (he also later repurposed the Megiddo to be an optical surveillance system that he called the eye of god aka Argus).

The fact that Diablo already has return to tempest is terrifying Just want the season 3 air next week xD

They also downplayed the intensity of the table splitting after Rimuru turned down Guy's request to pick a new name for the demon lords. In the manga it was a full-on blast wave following Guy's smile. The anime version just didn't quite have the same impact. Also, Guy's "Fix the table" in the manga was a very subtle line that really asserted himself as the one in charge. I especially enjoyed that little scene.

In the manga Guy made it clear he was unhappy with how the title Demon Lord was being thrown around by weaklings, he wanted a shake up. That didn't really appear at all in the walpurgis.

Are you talking about them realizing their strength? In that case didn't Frey and Carrion already step out of their title? Plus Clayman, someone whose throwing around the title of Demon lord, was also dealt with as he expected? In my own understanding, his only goal is to determine Rimuru's strength at that walpurgis. That's also the reason he gave to persuade Leon. Rimuru establishing his strength as determined and acknowledged by him and other Demon Lords is more than enough of a "shake up" don't you think? He also stated how interesting it would be because of his theory about Rimuru's strength and Rimuru met his expectations as well.

I think when beni vs caribdus fought, beni's born leader skill was used to determine the best actions/application's of his skill/attack. Like burning the flesh he cuts to prevent/slow regeneration for example. He also could have used born leader to help predict the outcome of the battle. Like having gobta and crew shadowing the snake lady in case she got cocky.

No, that was just him using his brain, not saying the others are stupid. Born leader is a skill thats makes sure that when an enemy is once sensed (not just seen) as part of the battle, he cant escape his commanding field. Also he can always sense how the multiple battles across the entire battlefield is progressing so he can help where nessesary. As you can see him attacking Charybdis when he appeared and immediately going after Millim's follower afterwards as his born leader skills told him those are the biggest threats. Born leader is a commanding skill, it gives him control of the battlefield, not single battles. For the single battles, he is powerfull enough himself.

Nice video, but there is a bit of wrong information. Luminus doesn't have an ultimate skill at this point in the story, and it was never assumed by Rimuru that she had one, he just put her on his "troublesome individuals" list.

What do you mean she just awakened? She was one of the oldest demon lords who awakened in ancient times. Yes her ultimate awakened later but she herself awakened thousands of years ago, probably when she killed the ancestor.

The only thing acknowledged was that she had more magicules than Roy, meaning that she probably was an awakened being, making her a troublesome individual from Rimuru's pov.

Thought acceleration actually is like a more realistic version of itachi’s tsukuyomi. Both could serve the same purpose of delivering pain and agony to the target for what seems to be a prolonged period of time over the course of mere minutes or even seconds. A very interesting skill indeed.

i thought i was the only one thinking about this.. i mean the guy really went mad bcs he got casualities and masscare the whole army and take over the country ffs 😂

One thing I liked in the manga was when Clayman awakened and both Carrion and Frey were like “oh shit he’s so strong, I don’t think I’d be able to beat him” and then carrion suggesting to Rimuru that they team up. In the anime they made it seem like Clayman was no big deal until after the fight where the step down from the Demon Lord position.

After 11th episode of this season I started reading the LN, and I am so fricking hyped now

One thing I was confused by from Warpurgis was why Rimuru just accepted that Clayman wouldn't betray his allies before killing him, but now I think I get it. I understood that Rimuru had extended his thought acceleration to Clayman so he would feel far more pain, but I didn't really grasp the full extent of it. The fact that Clayman wouldn't betray his allies after a month of torture, explains why Rimuru was convinced he would never do so (though I still think Rimuru probably could have managed to figure it out)

There is an extra detail that Clayman started hallucinating and that he gave away the name Kazaream repenting as he died and I'm pretty sure he would have had advice from Raphael if it thought he could get more info considering it thought up the entire plan to kill Clayman.

i think he was actually incapable of giving it away. Remember, the other guy is so powerful he is hiding in plain sight. He may have spelled Clayman to keep him from saying anything. Though, i think he did tell us who he is, just not who he is right now

I think Clayman didn't betray his allies was because they're his family. He trusted no ones except them and he knew that this time it was his fault alone. Actually I feel like Yuki's allies is the same as Rimuru's because both side completely devoted themselves to their boss.

Just got some new info from the light novel. He definitely was devoted to his family. But it turns out he was actually incapable/restricted from revealing information. Light novel 15 and he’s still being mentioned. Also I didn’t like how he felt so unstable in the anime, like not given hardly any grace or poise. But going off this new info it actually makes sense how out of control he seemed and the delusion/insanity from his eyes. I actually appreciated the anime more but you’d have to read to book 14 to understand.

@@Dile0303 How do you figure? 'Demon Lord' is also a title, so Clayman was indeed a demon lord. He was not an awakened demon lord, but out of the current anime group of 8, I think only two are awakened demon lords, Milim and Rimuru. So anime Shion and Benimaru are both demon lord level at the moment. In the LN, Rimuru compares them to being demon lord level as well.

I think they deliberately didn't featured the diablo part in the anime so they can easily explain the events happened in Falmuth in the next movie or season

In truth he kind of got it wrong in light novel AND in manga it’s explained after because it’s how they explain why everyone who wasn’t there knows it’s the octogram

While I like the more exaggerated and humorous reactions rimuru had when he realized raphael told him everything but he wasn't listening, I think the detail in the manga where he didn't think about carrion also being at the meeting because he was too focused on Leon was more consistent with his character and makes him feel less actively dismissive of raphael

So I’m loving the focus on everyone’s favorite slime, but I’d really love to see some videos covering all of the major subordinates he has, specifically their powers and abilities. Especially the Kajin, if possible I’d love to see a video that covers all of them and their power after the Harvest Festival, and the skills they have

Fun fact: this is version of Rimuru up to Vol 7 Rimuru is still waay too weak and is still a fodder compared to Vol 10-15 Rimuru Vol 10-15 Rimuru is no where near, like literally no where near Vol 18 Rimuru Rimuru evolves and becomes even more powerful literally every single day without doing anything

Considering I watched Aninews' last video about Tensura, I already knew the fact that Rimuru's thought acceleration was a million fold. So when he used that on Clayman and the guy started cowering after and said that he cannot betray his friends, I felt enough pity for him. Only for a while though. 😅 But the fact that the guy is so loyal to his friends is enough for me to respect that part of him. 😎

He Only wanted strength for himself because he was weakest in group and wanted to recognize by them as equal. It was never for himself but for moderate clown troupe

The thing is it was a Manga content added but it was never a thing on Light novel so I'm confused why Manga readers are complaining when anime is not even following the Manga. And as Light novel reader the anime is much more great adaptation than Manga the only thing I like on Manga is the drawings.

I think the reason he wasn't able to dodge her attack at the beginning was because he just wasn't expecting it. So by the time she was just inches away, that's all he had time to do. And just because you have though acceleration doesn't mean you can suddenly move beyond your ability to move when unprepared.

I think the best way to end off this season of tenseda is some aninews videos

I really enjoyed the manga more because of how analytical I think when it comes to any situation, like how the setting is setup and the skills and plans are layed out for you. Tho I had fun when veldora used haduken and kamehameha on the anime, veldora did do that in the manga but its more of a passing joke that I totally skiped through.

Luminus disguising her aura made rimuru think that she had an ultimate skill, he never said that she acquired one.

Benimaru's skill to command troops is so underrated, he can literally be aware of each and every soldier under his command on the battlefield and relay orders with a very short thought, he also is aware of everything each unit knows about the battle like the enemies, terrain, etc. The reason he didn't fight at all until charybdis 2.0 was because he was making sure nobody would die on his side, the moment anyone was in danger he would order them to jump this way or block and the others around to interfere. Poor guy didn't get a chance to truly fight because he was taking care of everyone.

Damn now that you mention it, I really like that part as well as it shows the perspective of a "mere soldier" that is only considered a number to be sacrificed. I mean if it's just with Rimuru's pov number is just a number, but with the pov of atleast one of that "number" you'll feel the weight of Rimuru's actions and determination.

It's not just about Diablo. Remember their convo with Leon? They theorize that Rimuru is actually strong enough to take Velodra and be able to free him. I might have missed the anime mentioning it, but they theorize that Veldora not causing a ruckus as soon as he got back is out of respect for who freed him. There's also the matter of the Jura Forest with Guy's information gathered. Lastly, there's also the fact that Clayman wants to mess with him during the walpurgis so he'll see how Rimuru handles it.
