Honestly I don't get the line of most loyal Since all of rimuru subordinate is loyal to him I see all their loyalty mostly equal In my own opinion I can only see ciel , and veldora as the highest

Diablo is not connected to Rimuru until he named him, so he did not receive any gifts from Rimuru's evolution. Also Diable wasn't specifically summoned, as shown in the 1st season, Diable was aware of Rimuru and when he felt Rimuru summoning demons, he chose to be summoned.

Idk if it will be shown in the anime but you asked if summoning diablo was necessary. Rimuru didn't summon diablo specifically but just a regular demon. The reason diablo showed up is bcs he's like "move away I'll come out instead" kinda guy when he felt rimuru lol

They hinted at it late in season 1 when he got the spirits for the kids and remade the robot for the fairy. He put a demon into the robot and Noir was sad he missed his chance to another demon. So yeah it's basically just demons fighting for the spot whenever a summoning happens.

Degenerate is the skill of Shizu, it helps her develop or create new skills if certain conditions are met. That's how I understood it in S1.

Exactly, he was supposed to have been summoned when Rimuru created the replacement golem for Ramiris in the labrynth. Beretta however beat him to the punch and got summoned instead.

So the skill degrenarate was aquired from Shizu it wasn't completely discarded it was simply intergrated into the new Ultimate skill Raphael Degenerate + Great Sage = Raphael and the same goes for mercilless + Glottony = Beelzebub

Pretty much the skill Raphael had the same abilities as Degenerate thats why Great Sage could not "evolve" to Raphael.Thats why Degenerate had to go. Thats probably why Great Sage atempted it so many times. Just in order to figure out what exactly causes it to fail.

Unique skill _Wise One_ wanting to evolve is a bit of foreshadowing to her character. Also, Kuro(Black) blowing Razen's _Nuclear Cannon_ also had a reason to it. Let's just say....Kuro blew Razen's attack directly up on purpose.... Also, _Degenerate_ is a skill Rimuru gained from absorbing Shizu. It has two components, "Synthesis" and "Separation". In a nutshell(it's a very complex skill), it lets Rimuru combine things, or separate things from his target(s). He can grant his target skills with little effort, or take skills from others. He kind of didn't need it, as he already had _Gluttony,_ and the citizens of Tempest already gain skills from him through their connection to him.

Just a lil heads up. Rimuru is using lasers in a way. Its more accurate to say hes using a magnifying glass. He create a type of magic called Physics Magic. He summoned water spirits and then had Great Sage do all the calculations to aim the water like lenses to be able to kill things with natural light. Magic is limited in an antimagnetic area. But natural light is not magic, hence the name Physics Magic.

Something that isnt really ever explained in the anime compared to the manga is the concept of the Primordials. They are the 7 original Demons and essentially all current demons descend from these 7. Razen is freaked out because Rimuru summoned one of the 7. Demons also actually seek out not strong opponents but strong MASTERS.

Degenerate was the ability that belonged to Shizu (Masked girl vessel for Ifrit and Rimuru's human form). It allowed the user to break down any ability they have into their base components and combine those base components into new abilities. Example: Black Flame was created from the Tempest Star Wolf (Ranga evolution)'s black lightning + Shizu's flame ability. Merciless needs no explanation.

I can see slime are a common monsters in tenshura world and it rarely make appearance openly but Demon Slime....It may truly exist at some point in past but extremely rare to roam around plus Rimuru is different case.

People always sees Diablo being sus 😆 without knowing he is the most simp to Rimuru 😆

@@phantom9831 In Stampede mode she was able to fight Guy Crimson for seven straight days and their fight turned the west coast into the Barren Lands, an irradiated wasteland that only the strong can survive in. Eventually Ramiris had to get involved and in stopping the fight she ended up trapped in a cycle of death and reincarnation despite the fact that she was supposed to be an immortal divine spirit. MIlim's Ultimate Skill grants her infinite stamina thanks to its sub-skill Magicule Breeder Reactor. On top of all this, Milim is Dragon Jesus due to her father Veldanava being not only the oldest and strongest True Dragon, the most powerful beings in the series, but also the Creator God of the Tensura Multiverse and even if he gave up his omnipotence years before he had Milim he was still the strongest being on Earth before Milim inadvertently drained her father of most of his power during her conception.

@@jackwitt7430 Holy hell...I really need to buy and read the LN, knowing that I missed so much informations is frustrating (plus, I also would like to see how it was written in the LN, knowing the manga and anime (especially the latter) cuts some parts because of the format. I knew Ramiris could reincarnate herself, but I didn't knew it was because of a fight between Milim and Guy Crimson (hell so it means their fight was so intense that it killed an immortal...damn) I also knew, or at least, had glimpse of infos about Milim being the daughter of Veldnava, so I understand her natural strength, but I never knew she drained his power during her conception... So...currently, are their some demon lord (apart from clayman, even if I don't know if we can really call him a demon lord since he only had the seed), that Rimuru could beat with or without the help of Raphael? I mean, sure he became strong, but I'm certain that even after his evolution into demon lord, he's yet only a demon lord amongst other (aside from some of them like milim or Guy that are absolute monsters, and maybe luminas, but for her, I don't really know hos strong she is)

@@phantom9831 Of the Octagram? Anime Rimuru is about on the level of Luminous and Base Form Dino I'd say. Luminous mentions in Volume 7 that RImuru is still growing and that Awakening isn't a single boost in strength but gradual over time. I think Rimuru's immense power boost is more likely the result of Beelzebub's sub-skill Food Chain which makes Rimuru stronger when his subordinates get stronger. Rimuru also of course gets much stronger every time he absorbs and analyzes someone. Rimuru's power isn't what makes him amazing, it's his absurd potential since Raphael and Beelzebub are such a broken combo. Luminous could probably beat Anime Rimuru out of sheer experience though her lack of an Ultimate Skill at the time of the end of Season 2 is a bit of a hindrance since Rimuru is now resistant to holy magic to a degree and Dino being a sloth can be a massive hindrance but ironically so is him getting off his ass so with Dino it's a coin toss whether he actually wins though if he transforms Demon Slime Rimuru is finished since Dino _is_ a Primordial, if Fallen, Angel who are the counterparts of the Primordial Demons. Base form Dagruel rivals pre-Ultimate Skill and manga Veldora and that's massive since we are still talking about a True Dragon. Guy stalemated Milim and Prime Ramiris was able to stop that fight so they are far beyond Anime Rimuru. That leaves Leon, hmm... Yeah, I would say anime Leon would slaughter anime Rimuru since he's currently basically Hinata but better. He's a master of Spirit and Holy Magic and his ultimate skill grants him control of Spiritrons (Spirit Particles, the sub-atomic particles that make up Magicules) to such a degree that he's basically a god of destruction as well as greatly increases energy efficiency. The only downside to Leon's full power is that he can't use it without causing massive collateral damage so the best place to fight him is his domain of El Dorado.

Something i recently figured out, is that when Diablo breaths the "nuclear cannon" into the sky. It wasn't just to show off, he used that blast to kill the last of the five fingers, that Clayman was controlling. Or in this case, it was the first of the five fingers to die

Fun fact! Everyone who was resurrected is now full of dark magicules due to those archdemons sacrificing themselves for the ritual. Thanks Diablo!

Revisiting this episode, it'll always be funny to me how Rimuru was like "I need some extra hands" and offered up 20K bodies for the service.

To answer your question @13:04 the magicules were insufficient for resurrection and had to be subsidized with the energies from the subordinates of Diablo. While this didn't actually change them on a personal level, their evolutionary paths going forward were altered. Please look forward to seeing the differences in later seasons, hopefully.

So little fact about the demon race. The demon is kinda spiritually bound to the one they consider their master and cannot betray them. From what i've understood there is 9 primordial demons one of each basic color + 1 white and one black. Diablo is aka primordial black thats the name we heard another lord call him previously. ( some other primordial demons have already been seen but for spoils I won't say their name)

Demon lord is a title that can be appointed to someone who is found worthy of it. Rimuru EVOLVED into an awakened demon lord. Among the demon lords, before Rimuru, only 3 had achieved the state of awakened demon lord (Yes one of those is milim) putting Rimuru above most of the current demon lords in rank of power.

degenerate is shizus skill that can change other skills. Like it turned "black lightning" and "fire manipulation" into "black flame" It had the subskills: Seperate, Combine and Synthesize According to lightnovel both skills werent truly lost tho since rapheal and Beelzebub can do what those skills could. Btw the full names of the skills are "Raphael, lord of wisdom" based on the archangel Raphael. And "Beelzebub, lord of Gluttony" based on the demon that supposedly is one of the 7 deadly sins.

The subs can cause more confusion than they should. He technically didn't lose Degenerate and Mericless, they were fused with Great Sage and Gluttony respectively. Raphael (formerly Great Sage) has the abilities of both Great Sage and Degenerate, while Beelzebub (formerly Gluttony) has the abilities of both Gluttony and Merciless.

not really, it was said in the special episodes in S1 that the primordial was interested to the bearer of the antimagic mask, because it was somehow related to time, and he then took a liking to Rimuru, so when Rimuru summoned demons, he forced his way out to be summoned and having the opportunity to serve him

Rimuru didnt summon diablo, diablo killed everyone in the queue line waiting for the summon gate to open- the reason why he hated beretta was she got summoned before him ---also sacrificed skills are absorbed by the new skill

Like others said degenerate was shizues unique skill that rimuru inherited from her. Its used to split and combine stuff, like splitting his mimic forms to only use the wings of the bat form, or combining predator with the starved that he got from geld to create gluttony. Its a bit confusing because while it says "wise one" what it means is great sage. So you have lord of wisdom raphael and king of gluttony beelzebub as rimurus 2 ultimate skills. Also primordials were mentioned in the flashback ep in season 1 when shizue fought diablo. When she was in her room alone she was thinking a bit about the primordials, the original demons. Theres the primordial black noir, the original black demon, theres also red, green, blue, purple, yellow and white iirc

We didn't actually lose anything because the evolved skills gained the powers of the sacrificed skills in the process of evolving

Technically nothing was really lost when Rimuru evolves. While the skills themselves were sacrificed, the abilities those skills gave were incorporated into his other skills by Raphael (at the time Great Sage) so stuff like Beelzebub and Raphael now have the abilities of Degenerate and Merciless (lots of subskills and stuff get shifted around but for the most part nothing is lost).

Ok so… skills he lost… uh… in essence, he lost nothing. Great sage/Raphael sacrificed skills that would pretty much be included in the upgraded versions of the other skills… degenerates ability to create new skills is also included in Raphael, and merciless is pretty much included in Beelzebub

I agree that episodes 10 and 11 are the best episodes of the season. It's so satisfying seeing Rimuru and his people flex like they did.

degerate was skill from sizu that allwed to make new skills my combining or cutting skills. also we didnt actually lose any skills. here sacrifice doesnt mean losing it means sacrificing to the other skill aka giving it to the other skill. so now bealzubub will have the power or both gluttony and mercyless and raphael will have powers or both the wise one greate sage and degenerate. no one actually loses any skills in evolution we only gain

so explaining a few things: Ultimate skills: 1 these skills are near imposable to obtain with only those beings of the highest magnitudes holding them (The original 3 demon lords Guy, Millis, and the fairy) along with True dragons like Veldora and his 2 sisters and their older brother, High ranking angels and a few others. A lot of demon lords lack ultimate skills. One also cannot have to many ultimate skills as they can and will kill owners if there are to many (i think the number was 4 this can be gotten around if you forcibly combine multiple ultimate skills together) they are also the highest order of skills bring maybe 1 exception Raphael: Named after an archangel this skill can do freaking anything it is better than multiple high functioning super computers put together and bears skills like thought acceleration and multi processing as well as being able to run autonomously should it need to. Also it was because of its predecessor skill Great Sage that Rimiru never lost any skills even when they were sacrificed. Using degenerate he shifted all the skills under a name to another leaving the ability with just its name and tricking the world. He would then get to keep those skills distributed under his new ultimate skills. It also was what separated and collected every soul making sure they were all in order for their bodies. (it is basically a couple hundred quantum computers strapped together)

S1 is one of the best prologues. Complete with detailed world building, and Ramsey's place in it. S2 is . . . here we are world deal with us.

Degenerate is Rimuru’s skill to take skills apart n fuse them with other skills to make new ones. The most overt use of it we saw was with Rimuru’s black flames, which is a fusion of Veldora’s black lightning and Ifrit’s flames.

degenerate is the skill which helped rimuru in creating new skills, its worked by consuming other people magicules and analyzing them and creating new skill.,. degenerate skill was controlled by great sage whos job was to create new skills for rimuru. by giving away degenerate great sage evolved in to ultimate skill which is not only powerful but doesnt require degenerate to create new skills because now she can create skills without it and can also create skills which can be useful in the future. and there is one more thing to mention but it will spoil the ability for you so.

Degenerate lets the user either deconstruct or construct other skills/things, it's how black flare was made, its a combition of fire magic and black lightning (though this isn't mentioned in the anime, it is in the Light Novel though), and the skills aren't lost, they are now part of the Ultimate Skills that were created

Degenerate is the Skill he got from Shizu and she sacrificed it for herself, the wife is jealous much. It is the skill that allowed him to comvine skills into new ones. She also prevents best girl from evolving in the future.

Degenerate also helped Rimuru developed Black Flames with Shizu's flames as a factor.

ok i dont really like giving spoilers but i want to point out one thing diablo is completely devoted to rimuru so much that amongst light novel fans its is running joke that diablo is founder of rimuruism and shion, shuna and bunch of other new character are high priest of rimuruism

Both of the skills that were "lost" during the evolution were incorporated into the skill they were used to evolve. For instance, 'Degenerate' was a skill that would combine skills together to create new ones. And Raphael can just do that now. Raphael at this point is in constant control managing Rimuru's skills, and is currently working on making new ones. Merciless is basically just a skill that let's Rimuru instant kill somebody who has given up. But you can see he can do that already with Beelzebub when Diablo has the other two demons submit to Rimuru.

Rimuru used Degenerate to create superior spirit to inhabit his three students towards the end of S1.
