Rimac Nevera Pre-Series Start of Production | Mondays with Mate E16

In 2020's final episode of Mondays with Mate we mark a special milestone in the C_Two project: the start of pre-series vehicles production. The new production line in Croatia has already been used for the production of 12 experimental and validation prototype C_Two vehicles, used for the extensive testing program as well as validation and crash testing. Now, the six pre-series cars are basically production-spec C_Twos, with a fit and finish, driveability, and reliability that is nearly production-ready. Minor modifications are still possible as a consequence of final production inputs and durability and reliability testing.
The pre-series cars will be used for the final tweaks before full-scale production begins, dedicated to homologation tests, durability tests, trim experimentation, NVH tweaking, and global product evaluation.

A brilliant Monday again , Mate. Can I ask what steps you take to minimise corrosion where the aluminium components are bonded into the carbon fibre? Thanks once again for all that you do for us. Pete on the Isle of Wight.
I used to use these Click bond for screw and cable tie, but without a fixture, it is hard to have a precise positioning.

Could you do a break down on efficiency of your inverter, motor and battery. I'm interested in your numbers (as a percentage) under power and what you can achieve under regen braking :)
All the videos are very interesting. But they usually regard the technical side of the business. I definitely see why. But, how about making one episode about the marketing, commercial, and communication side? Maybe more than one...
Mate, watch out for the Aspark Owl, claimed 0-60 times are faster among other specs. Perhaps you can do some tweaks before production

Mate. Great video. Why not turn the car on a rotisserie to prevent ergonomic issue in zone 2... also add an inline measurement system to check gap and flush. There is a company in Greece called Inos that specializes in those system.

This stuff from Rimac is fantastic. Such transperacy and letting people see the huge project of a sketch to final product coming down the production line. Well done Mate. The Volvo / Polestar 1 Coupe series was over a 3 year period ? and this was also a brilliant series that documented sketch to final production. 👍👍
