When i came to know about Mate years ago from now i knew he was a genius. When he was unveiling the concept one i remember the way how he described everything, i was completely sold and became a fan of that man. Seeing some drag races of that thing kicking asses of some big boys increased my respect even more. Every day since then he is making great moves. Big boy companies working with him is not a small feat. Seeing you got to work with such a passionate guy makes me happy. Thanks to Mate for arranging for you to drive that thing, if it's that good in this stage, can't imagine what the final product will be like. You should be able to drive the final product too, would love to see how that makes you feel.

This kind of video is something that I think every car enthusiast and engineering enthusiast loves to watch. Beeing able to see a car during tests/development stages, including hearing the coments of the test driver like "the servos aren't fully calibrated" is something unique. Makes us feel like beeing "part of the team" of beeing integrated into the development process, also shows a lot of transparency from the company proving that "there aren't any 'catch things' to hide" Congrats Misha and Rimac team, great great job.

Misha is a guy that has driven lots of exciting cars in the most exciting track of the world, so you could say that he's not exactly easy to impress and yet, this car succeeded to make him cry. I'm pretty sure the fact that they made him such a nice surprise played a role to his emotional burst, but still if the car didn't provide an enjoyable experience, the result wouldn't be the same. Good job Rimac Automobili!

This car.. I'm following it for quite some time now (also subscribed to Rimacs' channel since a few years now) .. what this man Mate is doing, it's insane. This man is living a dream .. Sounds of hyper eletric cars are quite chilling and fear inducing.....to me they sound like when a jet engine is starting...

So funny, because so many times that "one more" has had so destructive consequences (like the R. Hammond´s "I can still do it a bit faster" Rimac-run, where he forgot to brake after the hill climb course ended). :DD Perfect video!

Cmon, I cannot not comment on this. You hire to work for your basically a legend in the petrolhead world (Misha), who makes thousands of laps every year in the most expensive track cars at the Nurburgring, and then some kind of tech division sorta guy tells you when to brake in some local go-kart kind of track, where car barely exceeds 120 km per hour.. Reminds me that guys ride in the passenger seat on his Murcielago last year. Rimac, show more respect to real drivers out there and you will see that your cars are even more capable than you think they are!

Get your point but this is one of very few running prototypes at this point which Misha was driving for the first time on a track that is new to him. Any damages to the car at this point would have serious consequences on the development/testing program. Mrugd's (our test driver) reactions were justified from that perspective as this was an "unnecessary joyride" but I hope that soon, we can unleash Misha fully so that he can push it freely to the limit :)

Driving a slow and cheap car can be very fun as you are able to drive it to its limits without worrying about wrecking it.

Even though this might be a raw prototype, i actually think it sounds really good. Kinda gives you a feeling what it has to offer. There is more ...
