He's the one who lead the fight while still being cautious and not wasting punches since rigo is non stop running around the ring. If casimero force to punch more then it will not look good for him since rigo is just waiting for the counter and casimero will be exhausted. So atleast casimero beat rigo on his own game. If you knew boxing then this wouldn't be such a big problem. One of the main points of boxing is to hit and not get hit, you do that by defending, moving back, slipping/weaving, or hugging.

It was in the 1st round, when Rigo felt the punch of Casimero then eventually changed his mind and decided 'okay" i will just survive and finish the fight in 12 rounds rather than to get K'Od.

Your right, after the round one he felt it, and was afraid to make exchange of punches with Casimero, he think he will end up like what happened to tete and micah. So he diceided to run and make a score punch, but still he failed to steel the belt of Casimero. Rigo just made the bout so boring.
