I love you, you are a genius, I keep trying IK but my models would rotate weirdly and fold in the wrong direction, your method is awesome

Hi, awesome tutorial! exactly what I need. But I have question, what is the purpose of limit rotation constraint in the first parent object? I see you put everything at 0, I tried to turn it on and off it doesn't make any difference. Or is it for future use, like limiting rotation of the first parent to maximum 90 degree?

Hi, how do i make this, but it folds following a curve and not a straight line?

This is exactly what I was making. I have one problem though, the objects rotate from the center of the object. How can I change it to the way you rotated it? Thank you.

go into edit mode for the first door and set the origin in the buttom corner like i did (watch closely and you see where it is) ..after doing tha your door will rotate properly.. (you have to do this for all doors

Wonderful tutorial, but how would I go about exporting this to UE5?

i would export it as fbx with animation. that animation can later be driven in the sequencer, I think. I dont do much with unreal lately so not 100% sure. but this is the typical walkthrough as far as I know. So when exporting from blender as fbx you get that information on the right side where it says: export with animation…

Hi! Really appreciate the video, really helps. Is there any way to do this but more efficiently? I need to do this for like 100 doors lol cause I want to create like a slat panel for a cabinet. where you push the panel and the rest collapse as your pushing it to get to inside the cabinet.

you can do this with geometry nodes.. but i’m afraid i cant help u with that. still new to geonodes …the overlapping results from a wrong origin of ur object.. you need to check the position of the little yellow dot for each element.. if u look closely you can see where the origin location is..

Too low resolution to follow any of it. Also the music is too much and then trying to see / read / understand what's happening in the video is very distracting. Is there any possibility that you can make a good quality video?
