I'm not sure he understands the term guilty when it's applied to him. He knows what he did, and that if someone else did it he would be demanding they be punished, but a mind like that thinks it is exceptional and above reproach. He really does consider himself to be above the law, hence his arguments tend to be "how dare they accuse ME?"

Yes, I am on social security and heard the speech when he said he was going to cut it. I think it is already over, though. Alito flew a Trump flag over his home today, and Justices are required to be impartial. Most importantly, according to his platform he is going to "root me out" of my home because I am vermin and remove me from the country because it is not my country, and, with the second amendment, his followers will be at his side. There is not a lot of room for interpretation there. My congressmen never returned messages and the local RNC office berated me and called me a communist for asking about the platform. So do I flee the country and everything I own or wait for them to come round me up? It appears that the majority of Christian America supports this, and all republicans do. Sad. I devoted my life to public service. The Constitution is gone. And treating me that way isn't very Christian. Unless we are back to burning people at the stake again.

Well, if he lived an upstanding wonderful life like he claims then he would have nothing to worry about. If they bring up something bad that is false, then he needs to state it is false, if another crime is mentioned that is unrelated then his lawyers need to object. no, it's because you ran your mouth and made threats to get gagged outside the courtroom, but you chose to use that gag order as an excuse to not have to testify because you can't not lie under oath and can't handle being questioned, relying on the court of your supporters' opinion and misinformation spread by right wing media to scramble and cover you. no innocent person acts the way he does. as for material witnesses, his defense was a horribly laughable bust. he had every opportunity to take the stand. the gag order covers OUT OF COURT, not IN COURT. i wouldn't be surprised if the extended break before closing arguments is to cover the bases, should he be sentenced to prison, in case he calls a mob to the scene. extra police, secure transport, with the national guard on standby. flush this turd!
