Rig Rundown - Seether's Shaun Morgan and Dale Stewart

Музыка

Article & photos: bit.ly/SeetherRR
PG’s John Bohlinger hung with Shaun Morgan and Dale Stewart of Seether during a bone-crushingly loud rehearsal in Nashville as the band geared up for another tour.
Morgan exclusively plays his signature Schecter models. This rock ’n’ roll machine features a mahogany body, a single Duncan-designed pickup and a volume control. The Schecters are strung with Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky (.011-.054) for drop tunings and Ernie Ball Paradigm .011-.048. Morgan uses Dunlop 1 mm Tortex Fin picks.
Both in the studio and on tour, Dale Stewart plays his Schecter Diamond signature model. These basses feature a mahogany body and two EMG 35HZ pickups, and are strung with
Ernie Ball Power Slinky (.055-.110) strings.

Exactly what I expected from a seether rig. Pure and good quality sound - no need for special effects. Thats why their music translates so well into acoustic. I‘m glad after all these years they stayed down to earth guys! 🤘🏽

South Africa does have some British grammar and rules on the English language. I can't remember if Shaun and Dale speak Afrikaans as first language or second language. But yeah, I was thinking they would lose their accent over time from touring overseas. Sometimes the root of the past stays with you. But it's still there. Australian accent is abit different the British in terms of pronunciation. But close.

Isn’t it ironic that “Broken”, “Remedy”, “Fine Again”, “Fake It” and “Rise Above This” became more popular in America than SA (South Africa, not San Antonio). Also, it’s a shame that Dale and Shaun don’t have U.S. citizenship because the live in the U.S. for 20 years now but remain there South Africa Citizenship. But to be fair Shaun and Dale lived in Johannesburg, South Africa in ‘99 til ‘01. Then, moved to LA if I am correct, Idk if. Somebody can clarify that would be great.
