I'm really looking forward to trying this game out. I'm in love with rhythm games like this that don't focus on one conpect, but in multiple for each minigame. This is exactly the reason why I'm a passionate fan of Rhythm Heaven & Thief (I really hope these games finally make a return on the Switch, but Rift will be my replacement for now).

Crypt of the NecroDancer was worth it just for the soundtrack. Cadence of Hyrule spiritual sequel / Zelda crossover looks sooo good but never played it. Now this too!

@@20000dino I know this is 4 months ago so your opinions may have changed or you might just not care anymore, but I think the problem is the extreme change in style, not that the quality got lower (because obviously CotN's sprites look amateur in comparison). But the art style suddenly shifting to being "cute", and the game not being combat focused, makes it seem like just another rhythm game and not like Necrodancer.

This by far is the game I'm most looking forward to from the showcase

Love the art style, and the main rhythm mechanic being easy to understand, tough to master looks super approachable!!

Wow! I love the art style! I was a huge fan of the random elements of Crypt of the Necrodancer, This seems very different from that game though by a long shot.

I played a demo of this at PAX west, super fun and definitely on my steam wishlist. Might even get it for switch now.

Still waiting for this game. ^^;

I already liked Crypt of the Necrodancer, but the fact they incorporated Rhythm into Punch-Out!! type gameplay is reason enough for me to pick this up.

I wanted to like Crypt of the Necrodancer but I hate roguelikes (plus imo just moving and attacking to the beat isn’t really a rhythm game). This game looks more like an actual rhythm game so I’m looking forward to it!
