Tbh rifts are sick when ur at the required level, but once you surpass that, they become tedious bc u pretty much 3 shot the opponents and there’s no challenge to it. It essentially has 0 replay value aside from daily challenges and those target/tank nodes. I truly believe the xp going to gems shouldn’t be rng based and level the gems you have equipped, even if you don’t have appropriate gems that match the node(s)

Its really fun when you're slightly under leveled but i hate the rift fatigue in crushing and higher

They could honestly cancel rift mode entirely and i personally would not care. I find rifts boring af. Like invasions mode in mk1

What I realized is 3 more rifts will be added, and they want you to complete each at least twice to earn Agent Smith, to earn everything extra after Agent Smith will require beating all difficulties I think or pretty close to it.

You can leave two levels empty, but yes, you need to complete looney on six of eight to get everything.

Looks like the next events will rewards us with some head shark cap skins that i assume will be required on the next rift to complete all objectives, if that's the case, i'm fine with this delay since we still have a lot going on Multiversus

Yes, one less chapter does make it take longer. I hadn't thought of that, I was more sad about story/cutscenes LMAO.

I admit, it has been my goal to get everything done, but I'm not paying for Gem Upgrades so I have just been doing the dailies and slowly progressing through the Rifts as I unlock things. I do the time investment because I still like the game and enjoy playing, even the rifts, so it's not a big deal, but also because if I was just to assume that purchasing gem-upgrades rather than playing for them would it be worth it to get a character and skins for an easier time? Nah, not really. I just do a slow-and-steady method.

Some players often don't have the time to play every day or for that many hours, so they pay. Not everyone who pays is a player who doesn't want to "work" for it (or just wants to spend to get the rewards). I respect the grind though, I'm like that as well. I don't mind putting in the effort, the real issue is when you don't have any other option than to pay in games. 😅

@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 Oh, no, I completely get it. Time is Money. Some people have one or the other and have to balance which one is more valuable to them. I had times where I paid for convenience when my time was limited on games I liked because I had more Money than Time for progression. My contention is buying gem levels to complete the rifts to get Agent Smith. If the only reason is for Agent Smith, then just use that money to buy him when he comes out, is what I was thinking. I wasn't thinking it in terms of time vs money, but spending money to unlock someone in a roundabout way rather than just paying when he comes out.

It is also a lot to ask for, but I hope they surprise us with something like Aquaman. Idk if they plan to add him anytime soon. He does have metrix and shark hat skin tho.

I saw a garnet bot have a perk that was not in the game yesterday. It was a gauntlet, something or something gauntlet.

I saw something like that on Banana Guard as well. He had a perk to make him do more damage.

@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 your voice is louder than mine right now let the people know not to keep their head down just do their dailies have fun with the game and come through casually because that’s what they seem to want. They do not reward you for being high-level high skill this is not fortnight or call of duty where there’s some kind of badgeor way to show that you’ve been ranking up everybody’s gonna basically look the same at the end of the season besides wins on a badge that really doesn’t matter

I actually stopped playing pvp entirely, I can't take the game seriously without an actual block button and it's too stressful. I had the same problem with brawlhalla, I gave that one a try and stopped playing that one after just a few days. Love the characters in both games, but man the gameplay is honestly not great without block. Sticking to just rifts seems to be working fine so far, though the gem requirements sort of wreck it, sigh.. nothing like a slight mobile paywall to really remove the fun of a game mode. Honestly, multiverses needs more pve content overall. Am a bit bummed we have to wait for the next rift, but if they remove that need to play with a friend on the nodes, then I'm cool with waiting, I don't log in very often at the moment. Just enough to see if there is an event, do it, and then nothing for several days. Drip trickle f2p content is just bad, and there are lots and lots of other great games to play. Am excited for changes and what might be coming up, but likely not losing sleep over it. Especially since there is a massive Palworld update on the 27th, wooo! Sorry Multiversus, I'm gonna be busy for a bit.. lol I think I would be more excited, and positive.. lol, if I didn't know that pretty much all the cool new stuff, will likely be locked behind some sort of very slow time release and mobile paywall.

Rift mode be like "take less than 50 dmg" then each attack against you deals 74 dmg. Then your gems level up once and its like 4 dmg. The balance is horse shit

Rift mode wasn't canceled. Its running till late July they are just spreading out the event. Agent Smith is July 9th or 10th, guys.
