I always wonder: How would the Ninja1000/Z1000SX stack up to the Versys 650 LT on your board? I ride a 2018 Z1000SX myself, but i have never ridden the Versys 650 (i have ridden the Z650 though, and i love it). MCN has for years given the "All Around Bike Of The Year" award to the Z1000SX/Ninja1000, so it is a legitimate question.
My Panigale V4 has a heated seat too... I just wish I could turn it off.

To be honest most of the electronics turn me off, and I've literally never needed a blind spot detector thanks to the ability to move my head, but it's one of those things that in spite of what auto makers make out, is insanely easy and cheap to install. I don't want any eletronics in the mirror/stalk though lol. but yeah, a few cheap sensor around the bike and some LED's in the dash isn't going to cost much or have any impact on people who don't want to use it ... so long as you can turn it off.
I will never, EVER, get tired of Zack giggling like a child while doing wheelies and backing in a nearly 600lb motorcycle. I gotta hand it to Ducati on that engine and finally getting rid of the pointless desmo system and hugely improving the service intervals. I know they still use desmo in most of their other bikes, but a big, adventure/touring motorcycle NEEDS those long service intervals and it was a brave step to bring this engine to market. This is an amazing machine, and an amazing motorcycle no matter how you feel about it.
Heated seats on a Ducati might be the most redundant feature ever.

The radar cruise control looks like an amazing feature! Hopefully that technology trickles down to more affordable motorcycles in the future.
I thought I’d skip through most of a 40 minute review, but watched every bit! This bike’s truly remarkable! It’s almost in a class of its own.
Probably one of the best motorcycle reviews I have ever seen. Literally getting a complete functional reference for the thing....other than, y'know... actual seat time. Great work Zack

@@JustinHeilman Try a more upright bike and you will never look back bro. We all make the same dumb mistake and buy the sexy 600 supersport bikes, but they are track machines, not street machines. If all you do is ride around town for 30 min trying to look cool, then it's ok i guess. But if you start doing real riding for hours at a time you will realise how stupid your bike is. You can get more useable power, comfort and fun out of a more upright bike, especially with all the other bike choices available today. Good luck , stay safe.
Great review Zac... Love that you ride through my old hometown of Pedro and PV area!
The laugh while turning onto the twisty road and accelerating was awesome!
Well worth watching the additional length and oh, so much fun seeing you exercise the handling characteristics.
Adaptive cruise control in cars are amazing, look forward to more bikes having the system 👍🏻
What a great review, thanks for making it. Awesome bike, no doubt. Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil.
The video image with Zack's face is exactly my expression when I saw it.. 42 minutes of good stuff coming up!
Great write-up and video, as usual from Zack. Actually surprised that it is living up to the specs. Ducati really stepped it up, as a road bike (with very light off-road use) at least. Very impressive bike, Ducati - I honestly can’t believe you pulled this off as well as you did! I think this makes the whole motorcycle industry better... I’m excited to see this tech trickle down to lighter, more efficient bikes. 10/10 giggle rating.
Great review very much enjoyed watching your video thank you for sharing keep them coming.
Great review Zak 👍🏼 all ways entertaining
Love the long episode. Thanks 🙏❤️
Let's Go! Great episode of Daily Rider, so many laughs. Love it when you get excited by a bike.
The constant giggles and sheer enjoyment of the Ducati speaks volumes above specs and features. The sheer joy this bike brought is enough to justify it's top ranking on the leaderboard 👍
Despite this being about the V4S specifically, it helped me decide on getting a Multistrada 950S (currently in the works).
Has to be one of the best reviews i've seen...cheers
Great work you're knocking it out the park on bike reviews at the moment. Do you have any insight as to what the brake light does during adaptive cruise control deceleration?

A very important question and topic I’ve always listen/looked for when a KZreadr does a review and that’s “how does it ride for a person of our (6’2) height” THANK YOU! Plus I’ve always wanted this bike. It’s on my bucket list.
Mine is almost at my dealer, can't ride it for another 6 weeks anyway due to temperature and snow but I am very excited to get the bike. Ordered the day after it was released.
I love watching you test ride these bikes. You make it seem like so much fun! Your laugh is great it's like candy for the soul! You gotta have a cool wife and friends family. Have fun hope to see more videos. I like the serious Zack too.
Great test and really like the Q&A at the end
Great stuff as always Zach!!!
Zach going sideways 90 mph in the dirt my god this dude is a beast 🏍😱
Best test ride so far Zack! The amount of laughter describes this bike completely. All it really needs is a little tweak of the radar to detect speed traps and then it's perfect 😉

Great review Zack!
You just completely sold me on the little Versys 650!!
Great video! And I believe this is the first Duc I'd ever consider owning (if I could afford it). The service intervals are incredible alone.
@fernominal
2 жыл бұрын
Ducati might suggest to have extended service intervals, but these bikes have a wet clutch. Which means; the dirt/debris coming from the normal wear & tear of everyday riding, goes in the oil and distributed throughout the engine! Just that suggested service interval, would make the engine, wear out faster! (Shorter engine life) Paying the retail price, (25k) means; you have the cash to do services more frequently! Make a good thing last!
This might be a 45 minute long episode.. *42 minute video* Zach you're a wizard!
Wow adaptive cruise control! Absolutely amazing. With todays technology, there are so many features I wish my bike had all wrapped in one.
the features of this bike are astonishing. holycrap.
Great review video. Will you guys do the klx300sm anytime soon?
I really like Zack. Great videos!
That adaptive cruise control test just blew my mind. Also blind spot detectors. 🤯
One of your best reviews. I like it when you explain the features of a motorcycle. I'd like to see more indepth explainations of the mechanicles and why they are good? For example...why are Brembo calipers better than Nissin, or why the Goldwings new front suspension set-up is better than the previous set-up. You might need Ari's expertise. You and Ari would make a great duo for the Daily Rider show. Doing side by side comparissons of similar bikes, like the Tracer 900 and the Turismo Veloce. This segment of motorcycles is highly under rated. I call it the 'urban adventure' type of motorcycles. Perdomanitly street orientated but also able to tackle some urban terrian, like hopping over a curb or easily crossing railroad tracks and pot-holes..
Great looking motorcycle with impressive features and a nice review. What is the V- logging set up you are using? I like the clear audio and perfectly fine video. Do you have a separate video with this setup explained? thx
Got mine ,just waiting for the crap weather to go before I can ride it ,fingers crossed another few weeks and I'll be getting it run in ,cant wait 😊
Excellent review!
Great review Zack. The radar is nice, but I feel like the blind spot monitor is a lot more useful. Sounds like the price and range are the only two negatives. I'd love to ride this back to back with the BMW. I wonder why they made the GPS so complicated🤔
I have never used or cared much about the adaptive cruise or blind spot in a car but on that bike it's really cool

Always enjoy the reviews. This is why we need to have both an overall and a 'value' or 'reasonableness' bar instead of just a stack, because that thing will not be a better daily rider for the average person due to the cost. :)

Hey Zack, terrific review as always. I wanted to get your opinion on the reliability of Ducati. I've had some bad experience with BMW on two different bikes and from what I've recently read, Ducati is not that much better. I ended up with a Gold Wing and it has been flawless, just in the market for an Adventure bike and your review really sparked my interest on the Multistrada V4. Thanks.
