If you haven't done the Buffalo Thunder ride in DC, I think it's a must do. I've ridden in it a number of years. Traditionally, it was the same day as Rolling Thunder. Great ride to commemorate the service of black soldiers from the civil war to present.

Been a long time since I have been to D.C. In 1980 I was stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA. Then I was there for Stand in the Gap in 1997 (a Promise Keepers gathering)

I live here and a rarely ride in D.C. because we always have something going on and will close a road just because. And our traffic is bad.

This was funny. Tall not sure where he is. I did this ride several times when it was called Rolling Thunder. I like going to D.C. to look at the monuments, but I do not like the traffic.
