The snowpacalypse has hit Vancouver, so it's time to go for a bike ride.

As a Canadian who lives in an area where winter is a reality and not just a temporary experience, I kinda enjoy watching the lower mainland and island descend into chaos when a snowstorm rolls in 😅 I lived through one good storm on the island a decade ago and Victoria pretty well shut down for 2-3 days until melt and rain took the snow away.

I love comments like start like that! I lived in Calgary for 5 years and rode all winter no issues. Great city for bike travel

Lol we don't get snow that much so what do you expect?

I like the day after it snows here. I can drive and nobody is around. I can drift through the streets/parking lots and laugh at the commuter cars who get stuck

I rode for 5 winters since I moved to Montreal! It’s great!
Somehow the music from the brakes matched perfectly with the tunes in the video. Perfect stuff.
Use of a backing track with horns for the downhill segment was a genius editing technique. Kudos.
you guys are wild. I did a thanksgiving snow ride, and I'm still healing an injury from that day lol. Thanks for all you do! P.S. I love your music selections, always bangers
I love seeing the passion of just pure riding. Any day, any conditions, any type of bike, just enjoying riding bikes. sick content dudes. keep it up!
Give a like just for the fact they had to stop so many times just to set up the cameras and come back for them each time in the cold! That's dedication!
6:59 love how you chose music that harmonizes with the brakes
Would love to see a chill snowboarding and skiing vid now that it’s winter
The wallride corner looked terrifying! Snowy nights look so fun. Great job as always
Top recommendation for warmer hands; get some wrist warmers to help bridge the transition between jacket/long sleeve and gloves. Really helps to keep the blood in the small arteries warm on the way to the hands. You can buy them or easily make them out of a pair of socks. Just snip off the toe end and even create a thumb hole to keep everything in place and super layered. Mahalo my duuudes!
Driving at this time is unpleasant, but adding a video shoot is hardcore !! Thank you for the quality of the video in such weather conditions! Thats is a kind of the Christmas mood video!))
Went for a winter commute in Calgary and ate it on some black ice but I thought, heck I have worse falls MTBing! Glad it looked like you two made it out in one piece!

That cities great for biking in the winter.
It's really fun riding in the snow. At night, it's just magical! Another excellent video, as always.
I love riding in the snow, it's really lovely and a whole new experience in technical terrain!
Perfect Weather for the Swim Shorts.
You guys are nuts, that was insane. I live lower Lonsdale area and I wasn't really out walking.I didn't trust the drivers to stay on the roads. Good video and Happy New Year's to all you on the channel.
I love the continually evolving clip variations in the intro!
That was sick!Hope you guys do another next year!!!🔥🔥
Good on you braving the snow and cold! Looked like a lot of fun though. Worth it!
Skinny tyres can still be huge fun in winter! Proper studded tyres are an absolute game changer though!!
As a southerner I hate the cold but will endure it for snow. This looks like so much fun.
Happily bowing to Canadian Winter from Vancouver to Moncton and here in Winnipeg. Well done guys, love to see Vancouver someday (maybe not in the winter though.)
Snow riding is a blast! Throw on some studded tires are your good to go! Bar mitts are also a game changer for your cold hands! Great video
sick video, I hope you have a happy new year.🤙
Looks awesome out there boys!!
You should come back to Quebec city next winter. You can ride the trails you rode last summer (e47, Sdm, MSA, vbn), but with a proper fatbike. Really fun!
Gotta love that beautiful Ontario weather
It's lovely riding on the empty streets and white mountains, while everyone is at home. In my country it doesn't snow a lot and it's a thrill when it does.
So awesome to see winter life in the NW
Winter video suggestion: you guys should build a jump out of a pile of snow( usually from a snowplow) I’ve done this a few times this winter and it’s a lot of fun. Just make sure you pack it in extremely well, cause it doesn’t pack in or hold weight as well as dirt.
This just looks like a regular weekday ride🤘
I live where it never snows…..I liked this content and that Trek light is sweet with the downward shine 🤙
Awesome stuff!!!
Super nice ride 🤙
Keep the stoke going, thanks fellas. Cheers
Some of my most memorable rides were at Elizabeth Furnace in the GW national forest in conditions like that. It helps to have a few crazy friends to call at 11pm in a 25 degree sleet storm and invite you out for a ride.
Entertaining, nice job dudes
Those shots are mint 👌🏽
That was wild guys love it
We ride all year and brake screech is normal. For once because rotors are damn cold, second if you ride streets, you get solvents all over your brakes, got to wash and sand them afterwards, each time which is a bummer…😅
Thanks for another Banger Vid... Its making being downed with a busted Fib go by muchos bettah 🤙 Mahalo My Dudes
Went fat biking when the blizzard hit Minnesota! I live in Minneapolis so very bike-friendly, I think I was getting around easier than most cars!
Seriously love the transit jokes, the buses during the last months snowpocaplypse were horrendous. Glad you two got out and made a rad video in the snow, your suffering was most enjoyed. Hope you both got something warm in you after you cut the video.
Well, here in Ontario, we ride all year around...in winter usually with studded tires. Some use fat bikes, but I can't be bothered. Hitting some of the snowy track on the North Shore would be a blast!
Favorite trick: slap the branch as you go under so it dumps on your following buddy!
Looks cold!
Snow rides are too much fun to miss out
Dude Bro. Who's even your mechanic? Don't they know how to cold weather prep? There you go. Got that one out of the way. Well done Gentlemen!
Riding In the snow is great fun, I do it whenever it snows but u gotta build a jump and tow someone in on a sledge, your never to old to behave like a child now and then.🤟
That was sick!!! Come down to Phoenix AZ guys weather is… not quite as white..
JASON!!! MATT!!! Mahalo my dudes! 🤙🤙🤙
the best content
Put some freshly boiled eggs in your pockets. Keeps you warm and is a tasty snack. Just ask Rob Warner about it.
Good shit!
I live in Sweden snow and cold is a reality and also the darkness. You should buff up with more clothes 😅 I’m out biking when it’s cold. I’m sure you should have more lumens if going out on the trails. Sorry Trek, other lights for the purpose with external battery packs.
Looks like you had a ball. Welcome to mountain bike life in Alberta, haha. Put on studded tires and it's becomes a really fun night on the trails
The cold is truly a battery killer. Alot more charging needed in the winter+using a (i)phone for maps (komoot/strava) drains it super fast. :P
You guys would have a blast riding those conditions on a fatbike.
Look a the brake noise as the horn section of the music. I would say get a fat bike for this type of riding but you are in Vancouver, you don't usually get a lot of snow...well I don't think you do. Actually get a fat bike anyways, they are a lot of fun. Cheers from New Brunswick.
sweet!
I do the same thing and it is always worth it
That bus though :)
I’m ordering that light
You boys work hard for the munnie
I was waiting for the shammy report 🤓
That’s a bit crazy eh! -7, I’m from southern Utah cold desert in the winter.
Those trek lights looks decent.
Just like the Bus, you should have studded winter tyres 😀
Did you guys have spike tires?
Winter is another world and dimension for MTB… Finland at least ❄️😎
I like night rides. I like snow rides. I do not like the idea of night/snow rides but looked kind of fun in a masochistic way
Looks like that "might" have been fun XD
so how do you film this... do you ride and reverse or send a probe........
Once you go StVZO lights, no coming back.
Studded tires?
As per, beautiful footage
hahaha called me out, loved your pain and suffering. a like it is good sir !
Brakes go reeeeee but at least you out there
How long was the ride?
Committed to the craft
How were you not cold? I'm freezing sitting in my living room watching this video :S

It’s barely below freezing ever on the west coast. The stuffs all gone already!
yo love the video
I did jet boy ur on grouse in the snow, it’s the most sketch thing ever
steal a few ideas from snowboarding, put on a balaclava or an airhole, wear two layers of gloves, and clear lens goggles to stay happy in the cold
How did you filmed this? GoPro's or did you left some "bigger" cameras standing there in the snow? :-)

Snow bunny’s 🎉
Dumb? Can bicycling ever be dumb? 🤔 A couple questions based on the clarity of the video: Are you using a GoPro or other brand? If GoPro, would you please share your settings? I have a GP9 and my night video is best described as "meh". Thanks and thank you for posting! 👍
like for the pain&suffering let it be!

Great ride. Wrong bike though. Way more fun on a fatty.
how does your bike not get ruined by salt
I went snowshoeing instead...
That there’s some fatbike weather eh?
You need fat bikes with studded tires
You guys need to get fat bikes!
