Riding huge slopestyle jumps built of snow is my new favourite biking! I ride the crazy Swatch Nines snow slopestyle course on my Canyon spectral enduro MTB, hit huge jumps and ride as fast as possible! Would you try this?
I came out the Schilthorn in Switzerland for the Swatch Nines snow edition event where they invite around 40 professional skiers and snowboarders to send it as hard as possible on some huge snow jumps on top of a mountain overlooking the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. So why was i there? Well, I came out to see how much of the course I could ride without getting in the way of these snow athletes and I definitely found some cool stuff to hit on my bike, including huge jumps and a full speed run from top to bottom! After riding the snow I ride along a skyview walkway which looked amazing and also rode some urban MTB freeride lines in the village of Mürren! Would you have ridden this?

Hey Sam! Sorry for the random message you met one of my best friends Matt Masson this weekend at nines he's the guy that suffered the massive brain injury doing a backflip. He told me that you were amazingly kind and even made sure he got back home to his hotel safe. Just wanted to say it's amazing to know that despite your fame your a rad kind caring human being. @@KieranGraves melted properly lol joking aside Showing my age I grew up watching Sam and all the Slopestyle and free riders from Crankworx and rampage since they’re both event started but never heard about that event it’s probably one of those events Sick ass events like crazy South American Street races unless you’ve heard about it you will know of it

@@KieranGraves White Style premiered in 2006 in the Leogang Nitro Snowpark and had featured jumps between 6 - 10 meters (20-35ft). Austrian rider Niki Leitner impressed the judges with a huge superman seatgrab and claimed the first victory at a mountain bike slopestyle event on snow. After that it was like a snowball effect - the venue was moved, the course was longer and larger jumps were built and straight away big names were signing up to compete in this unique event. Most of today’s freeride and slopestyle stars have a history with White Style: the wild Spaniard Andreu Lacondeguy won the contest in 2009 and two years later in 2011, Sam Pilgrim from Great Britain earned himself a victory. This year, Szymon Godziek from Poland stacked the highest score and took his first win of the season in Legoang. More legends including Martin Söderström, Darren Berrecloth, Cam McCaul, Graham Aggasiz, Trond Hansen or Jamie Goldman have all made their way to White Style in the past. White Style is the earliest opportunity for athletes to show their new tricks - so as the event grew - so did the trick level. In 2009 Lance McDermott (GBR) threw down the first front flip tuck no-hander in an international mountain bike contest. Unfortunately, he slipped a pedal but still claimed the “Sickest trick Award“. Sam Reynolds was headline news in 2012 thanks to his massive double backflip. In 2013 the Russian showman Pavel Alekhin was a clear Best Trick winner with a backflip double tailwhip. A year later in 2014, Nicholi Rogatkin began making ripples when he landed the Cashroll on snow - just one year after Adrian Tell’s successful attempt in 2013. Big names can only nail big tricks on big courses! Which is why the White Style course has had to grow along with the sport. Over the years, the jumps have got bigger, boner logs and igloo step-downs have been integrated. Now, you can also be a White Style Champion! All you need to do is get creative! Design the obstacle you would like to see in the 2016 White Style course and submit your drawing by December 31st 2015. The winner will receive a VIP package such as a meet&greet, overnight stay, awesome prizes valued at over 1,500 Euro including a GoPro HERO 4 Session and have the honor of watching the best slopestyle riders trick the feature! MTB legend and sports director Tarek Rasouli, White Style host and director of the Leoganger Bergbahnen Kornel Grundner, course designer Markus Hampl and last year’s winner Szymon Godziek

That platform ride looked nuts, what altitude was that at? That looked like an epic white playground in the snow. Played the hell out of Crysis when it came out. Many times I started new playthroughs and didn't even finish, just played through all the "open" segments in the first 2/3 of the game. I would also easily add FFVII Remake to this list. The linearity never bothered me due to the amount of content and great execution.
