Really good Rich. The riding was good as always, but the interview at the end was the best part. When the folks from GMBN are singing the praises of the OZ trails, you've really put it in perspective.

Oh man I totally missed it! Thank you for the video recap! It was a blast watching you ride with them Rich! I hope the guys from GMBN do come back and when they do, I hope they, or someone, gives the rest of us a heads up as I'd love to tag along 🙂

Awesome opportunity Rich! GMBN guys seemed like they were great to ride with! The Fezzari Nashville crew is coming back for sure this year. Not sure when exactly but hopefully we get to see ya again when we do! Stoked to ride the new stuff!

Thanks Rich for your ride series. Watched so many of your videos I feel I know the lines to trails I didn’t get to. I was there during Bike Fest. Rode with Hans Rey and Jeff Lenosky. Saw you with the Fezzari Nashville crew. You are the unofficial face of Bentonville area trail system. That’s a big deal. Yet you seemed humbled to be with the GMBN crew. Keep it up, great job.

How awesome you got to take the guys on a tour of Oz trails!

Dang Rich you were gettin steezy just like the GMBN guys. You better never be questioned again in your technique videos because your riding speaks for itself! I've seen people try to argue with your techniques in the comments of your videos when you're trying to help people for free. Your riding in this video just ended any silly debate someone may have thought they had!

It was 2am and i was trying to go to sleep but watched the video… i found myself with a huge smile on my face… you definitely brought the excitement and energy to the video perfectly! They were lucky to have such a great tour guide!!🤘

That would have been my dream ride day. We've been many times, and I admire the GMBN guys to no end. Even considered making the six hour drive last minute to participate but it just wasn't in the cards.

This is it. This is the pinnacle (ha! Threw that in for the locals) we were hoping for back in 2012, ‘13, ‘14, ‘15, when we all got behind Gary to make this area happen. It’s bittersweet, bc while I’m thrilled others have found a love of riding a bike in the woods, we were so successful, it is now often impossible for me to ride my bike in the woods anymore.

Had a great time a couple of months back when I visited from the UK. Luckily I will be returning and this time I'm bringing my own bike. I have a bone to pick with the drop in boneyard, I didn't want to attempt it on a rental.

Guys next month you can go to the GCN World Bike Fest and meet these guys!

Awesome video and great riding! I agree, to be the mountain bike capital, there has to be a sense that mtb is integral to what's going on in the community, and not just that there are a lot of trails. Bentonville seems to exemplify that. But there are definitely other places in the world where this is a thing - Squamish, BC being the most obvious, and a place that doesn't have a corporate sponsor like Walmart, but has managed to gain the support of the local government and tourism industry. All that said, we all benefit if there are places vying for mtb capital of the world, regardless of whether they officially make the claim or not.

It showed up a bit late, but he got to ride.

I can't imagine the property values in Bentonville. I was there like three weeks ago and two out of every three homes were either freshly remodeled or in the process of being remodeled.

Agree. It's a fun place for a day or two, and they've done great stuff there, but calling it the mtb capital of the world.....meh. Moab, Sedona, Park City, Durango, and some others have much better NATURAL riding. And you don't feel like you're in Disney World.

Just change the marketing from "The" to "A" mountain biking capital of the world. This would still get the attention you desire, without the ego this place comes off with. If you go to a place that claims to be so high, that only leaves it 2 options. Either on par with the claim or less impressed.

You have a magnificent bike/walking park. Sure is nice to not see any masks. HEALTH FREEDOM!!!💪🤜🤛

I find that they just aren’t that friendly to to lesser public.🤷🏼‍♂️

@@richdrewtherideseries I realize every situation is different, they came to Bentonville to ride and promote not to hob nob with the corporate machine. When someone sends you an invite to ride weeks in advance, the least you can do is send them back a polite decline. Have we lost all common courtesy ?
