Riding Amtrak's California Zephyr: Day 2, Part 2

This is the third part of riding Amtrak's California Zephyr #6 from Emeryville to Chicago. In this video, we finish up the Colorado Rockies and watch Amtrak's Phase I Heritage Unit fly by the window on westbound train #5. We then make our way into Denver, seeing a plethora of BNSF power and a few Commuter trains. The FRA car was removed at Denver's Union Station, so the view from the back is now clean and clear (minus the clean part). The gorgeous sunset closes out day 2 onboard America's most beautiful train route.

2:23 I saw that same exact Amtrak#5 with 156 trailing 4th on it, I saw that same exact Train in Roseville CA on 6/14/16
I love riding amtrak to california i did just this last september from slc ut to truckee calif then in 2019 summer ride it from slc ut to los Angeles yup
When was this taken? I did the Coast Starlight in Dec 2014 and there was definitely no smoking then. 851 is a P40DC, isn't it? Great vid though. Can't wait to try it myself.

Enjoying the videos. But missing the station stops particularly Denver and Glenwood Springs. Lot of the backing and freight yard action in Denver could have been cut to show some of the Denver Station and removal of the extra private car.
