  Glad you included a couple of shots of Amtrak 1100 -- the 1953 GE center-cab switcher that was at Wilmington for a time. It is back at Beech Grove in a dead-line having served as switcher there for a number of years. There is a growing interest in seeing this gem reactivated or preserved. There is even an MTH O scale version thanks to Nicholas Smith Trains.

  Amtrak's Intercity HHP-8s were complete failures because of wheel slips, cab signals malfunctioning, and having trouble switching voltages. MARC's Commuter HHP-8s were given a second chance with rebuilds and refurbishment in 2018.
