I'm a new, very happy owner of a Ride1Up L'MTD; I've built many ebikes over the past few years, mostly mid drive, and a few hub drives, both road and mountain bikes. I love how my bike is very clean, super well integrated, and relaible - I don't want to "have" to work on my bike, just want to ride.

Do your e-bikes utilized a standardized battery pack or are they proprietary? Batteries don’t last forever and unfortunately 80% of new businesses fail, hoping you succeed of course, but what happens at the end of life of a battery pack or EOL of it’s support?

unfortunately the battery packs influence a lot of the bike design, so we are a long way off from some form of standardization. We have been around since 2018, and plan to be here for a while. However, I think ultimately the battery replacement solution already exists. Companies like FTHPower can replace the cells in an old battery and replace it for you in a relatively inexpensive way.
