Huge Ride fan here. Especially the boots. My Insano lasted 3 seasons, flex intact, super light, riding everyday. Obviously they are destroyed already, but they are the best boots I have ever had after 27 years snowboarding. I am buying a new pair again. Also, I love twin volume shifted boards.

Thanks for the great video, I’m so stoked for the upcoming season. For the new Peace Seeker, is 142 or 147 cm better for an all mountain Midwest charger (visit the Rockies when I’m lucky) with rider stats: 8.5 mens boot, 150 lbs, 5’9, pretty athletic. Looking to carve hard on groomers and slash through pow/trees when I’m able. I normally ride my all mountain freestyle board in a 155cm

Honestly I would checkout the new Shadowban. It’s a little more all-mountain friendly but still rules in the park. Size wise I wouldn’t go any smaller than the 161. Even though you are lighter weight for your height you still have a higher center of gravity and could use the few extra cm for stability. As for the width it’s up to you. With a size 12 boot these days you don’t necessarily NEED a wide board. Hello! Thanks for a awesome video! I’m a low end intermediate (or higher beginner linking turns alr) and had already bought the Ride Algorythm. However, now looking at the shadowban, it seems like it’s more suitable for me. 1) Is the shadowban the exact same profile as the Algorythm, but just less carbon and flex? 2) Is the shadowban more suited for a Lower end intermediate? Your advice would be much appreciated as I can’t any much more information on shadowban. Thank you!

@@kagestafford8961 Sounds good, those boards are pretty similar to be honest. The biggest difference would be the flex. Berzerker is slightly softer if you want a little smoother ride. If you want a little more aggressive ride then the Jones. Size wise I would bump it up a bit for a little bit more stability, especially if you take some higher speed runs. And definitely stay away from the "Wide" versions with a size 8.5, they will feel SUPER slugginsh edge-to-edge. Check out the 161 in the Flagship -> www.the-house.com/jofm151749zz-jones-snowboards or the 162 in the Berzerker (looks like we even have last seasons graphic on sale) www.the-house.com/search?term=berzerker

One more question, for future reference. I do plan on buying a new all-mountain board for the quiver at some point. Is the torsional flex on the shadowban a little softer than the algorithm or is it about the same? I’ve tried the algorithm and it was a little stiffer between the bindings than I prefer.
