Several days after making this video I heard of the very sad news that Local Penny Farthing Legend Ed Knight passed away during this Charity Ride, doing the thing that he loved most, Cycling. I spoke to Ed before the ride and he was his usual gregarious smiling self. I have in my Back garden a small replica Penny Farthing that Ed kindly made for me in his legendry Engineering workshop where all sort of Cycling magic happened, he made Farthings for fun but with Love. I hear that Helen Rollason Charity are naming the future ''Ride for Helen'' 15 mile ride after dear Ed, very fitting. RIP Ed, Mr Penny !..
