Riddick normally is tough but to see him show vulnerability and waiting to be saved is a great spin on the movie. He really does a lot for others in these movies.

Uhh... I don't think he's waiting to be saved here? He thinks Johns folded like his son did, and bailed. I'm sure he fully expects to die on this hill. Riddick is fighting with everything he's got here, because that's who he is. A survivor. He'll struggle forward and fight on until there's no life left in him. Always.

@@KS-xk2so Riddick was still effective and experienced, but not the same, also, he was injured as well. Pitch black Riddick cleans them all up and has no trouble with the space soldiers and bounty hunters.

@@renzopeterson153it wouldn’t have mattered. It’s not that he isn’t prime anymore, it’s just a numbers game and there are too many. Plus, even Riddick can only fight so long before his strength gives out. You also forget that Riddick had to be saved in Pitch Black too.

The whole Riddick Saga is very underrated, and yet it has cult status :)

Riddick = pure instinct , pure will to survive.

This ending is very nostalgic. The final interaction between Riddick and Jhons as the music starts playing, and seeing these two unlikely allies parting ways is bittersweet. Love this movie. Looking forward to Riddick:Furya

Since then there’s been mostly silence surrounding it, but many of us are hopeful for its release, or at least some sort of announcement that it’s still in the radar. I do hope that it has the feel of Riddick.

While I agree that this film is underrated as all hell, I dunno if I can say it’s better than Pitch Black. It looks better for sure, but Pitch Black is a fucking gem and a masterwork of low budget filmmaking and sci-fi world building.

I always Thought Riddick (2013) film was Underrated and Awesome sequel, really enjoyed seeing it back in Theaters.

The first half was a little boring for my taste, the second was enjoyable while it pretty much was a straight copy from the first movie. But I liked the arc with the father not being like his son. I could not really relate to the second Riddick movie so I hope any potential sequel will capture the feeling of 1 and 3 without retelling the same story.

Sadly the whole franchise is pretty underrated. Think the only thing keeping it alive is Vin himself. He has admitted in the past that Riddick is his favorite character to play.

This is my favorite of the Riddick movies... good writing, good acting, good filming. Seen it several times....

Nah, Kira is a psycho hose-beast. Dahl is Riddick’s equal. They would make an excellent breeding pair.

I loved this movie, I still want to see the furyan planet ...the history behind Riddick.

Wow! The plasma blasters that killed those Bio Ratpors reminded me so much of the Predator shoulder plasma caster.

I always liked this movie. The mood of the movie, and the fact that we all asked for it. I especially liked the jackal. I wish it was real. Lol.

It got funky on that ship, when Riddick went B.D, in Dahl! Sweet Like!

For me, I liked Pitch Black. Two lines from Pitch Black that hooked me: "Like I said, it ain't me you'd be worried about" "We can't leave... WITHOUT SAYING GOOD NIGHT"

So im assuming the full grown ones could weigh more than a lion. So imagine yourself punching a 500lb or more creature in the face and it losing balance.

Poor Riddick. I was regret him. That many bad things happened to him and despite that he stayed strong and fought to last seconds. They could have let him die, but such a man would be a hell of a pity!

Haven't watched this since the theatrical release but it still feels fresh. Waiting for part 4 and that Bounty Hunter show.

I always love these scene because the music is too sweet, the best part i like is things would be different if they try to put my head in the box..

Absolutely. Watched at the cinemas in a sneak preview, knew nothing about it and it really impressed me. Very solid Movie! The order of quality is 1, 3 - then nothing for a long time - then 2. 😅

Little alpha stand off between Riddick and that big one barreling up the hill was cool

0:32 This is giving some serious Alien vs. Predator vibes that one scene where 3 Yaujia were fighting the Xenomorphs on top of the pyramid

Love this movie, only thing is, that light over head when they picked him up shoulda made him look away, in pitch black when they shined a simple flashlight at him he reacted in pain from how bright it was, just wish they kept that consistency

Mine works so so, has a small proplem with a few bad conections but nothing a good cleaning wont fix.

I was satisfied with this movie, but one thing i hate the most: I never got to see Dahi and Riddick do the thing..sweet-like ;-;

I honestly thought this was it for Riddick 😔 was so thankful that he got rescued.

Katee Sackhoff is a Beast... Not sure why this is in my timeline in 2022 but I'm not going to complain.

He followed orders and stuck by the good guys. Good close teamwork is surprisingly effective.

Funny thing is that I’ve always thought (since I’ve seen her in this movie) that Katee Sachoff looked more like *Kyra* aka “Jack” than Alexa Davalos did. Mostly in the eyes.

It would've been dope had Dahl rolled with Riddck and did the happily ever after thing.
