@@HarryHeath-pb6rvagreed. But he was a converted southpaw. Then again a lot of the great left hookers/jabbers were/are converted southpaws. Cotto, De La Hoya and even Tyson were all lefties.

Never seen this fight wow

Jesus this commentator was a bit harsh on Thomas. The dude struggled with some serious demons and he’s just trying to earn a living. He had the balls to accept a fight with Riddick Bowe and by this time was already known to be a killer. Man, Bowe was a marvel to watch at times!! His work ethic was 💩 but his skills are seriously scary for a man of his size. Those combos are so fluid and his uppercuts are of those grazing split eyebrow types.

Bowe….just imagine what could have been if he stayed disciplined and in-shape. I believe Bowe would have given Lewis a good fight, regardless of the winner, it would have been a good fight.

Bo would beat Lewis all things being even. Lewis lack the toughness.

Stimulants will help keep you on your feet. Just like he did in the weaver fight

That hook Pinklon Thomas landed at the beginning of the second round was a really good shot. You know Bowe felt it, he started clowning.

Sugar Ray Leonard going full gigolo in the ring before the bout 😂

Two elite level talents whos out of the ring decisions led to their in the ring downfalls. Bowe with his diet and lack of discipline. Pinklon with the Heroin addiction, didn't get clean until just prior to his loss to Holyfield. By this point Pink, while sober, was worn out from his in the ring wars. Bowe, even in his prime showed plenty of vulnerability. He wasnt hard to hit. But usually overwhelmed his opponents with his excellent jab and in-fighting for a bigger man.

Well written and informative- I concur. Bowe trying to bs us that this is still a ‘ live pink’ as opposed to the shopworn one in reality here after years of drug abuse and beatings more recently , including the pretty horrific Tyson one . This is a long way from the pink who was masterful and motivated displaying his skills against Tim Witherspoon. Bowe was something special- agree , also add his uppercut as a special weapon of destruction. Still think a 100% Lewis would have beat him .. but what a fight !!

It's a miracle that Pinklon Thomas was not knocked unconscious in that fight. Bowe was going easy on him.

If bowe had kept the form he had against holyfield he would of been a serious handful for anyone including tyson who i think bowe would of beaten.

Why didn't Riddick Bowe put Pinklon away right away? Bowe just kept dragging it on acting like if he was just so tired. He was still young and strong! He was 19-0 for crying out loud! It was pathetic!

Probably.. Bowe had the same issue Lennox and Hearns had where they would play with their food or fight down to the level of whatever inferior fighter they're against. But Bowe and Tyson were buddies and ducked each other intentionally
