Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and husband Bharat Sahni have been married for 18 years now. But in their first ever interview together, exclusively for Galatta India's chat show Pillow Talk, the couple spoke to host Nayandeep Rakshit about their entire love story. From their first meeting to feeling for each other, from Ranbir Kapoor being the first one to know about their relationship to him revealing it to mom Neetu Kapoor, they speak about it all. Riddhima also shares how Bharat was scared to meet her dad Rishi Kapoor. But the family finally agreed to their marriage and the shaadi was a huge celebration with both Delhi and Mumbai side of their families joining in. The couple reveal several stars like Sridevi, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan performed at their Sangeet and in fact, Salman also took to the bar to make drinks for the guests causing almost a stampede. But the interview takes an emotional turn when they opened up about Rishi Ji's battle with cancer and how the family lost him four years ago. Riddhima feels terrible about the fact that she couldn't see her father one last time, and she missed a call two nights before he passed away. Not just that, she also discusses how Ranbir, her, and Alia Bhatt took care of their mother, Neetu ji during times of personal crisis. 🙈OMG!! My thoughts EXACTLY!! The guy could barely complete a sentence without her completing his sentences too. Good manners is also being able to LISTEN to others speaking and not always overshadowing or being the centre of attention.

How lovely, made for each other, balancing Ying and yang. Never expected Riddhima can talk so much. She’s so sensible and grounded too. So good natured he is and totally smitten with his wife, he lets her reign and she loves it and does a great job. Another Kapoor beauty. Her way of talking and expressing herself and certain mannerisms are like Kareena’s.
Omg, this lady did not let the poor guy speak. He’s definitely a very smart guy, I wish we could hear him talk. Well, talking about tolerating each other’s habit’s, he is the one at the receiving end. It’s so frustrating when some one cuts you off and wouldn’t let you speak at all. Basic etiquettes 😢

No one will say bad about each other in front of the camera. So even if there's something wrong in the life of celebs, no one will openly admit to it. They all know how and what to pretend and maintain a good image. I am not saying this with respect to Riddhima. But one should not trust completely said or done by the celebs when camera is on. After Alia entered their lives, I am seeing a little bit of Alia in everyone...there's this Aliafied version of Neetu ji, aliafied version of Riddhima. Cant say if its good or bad though. Didnt know how Riddhima was like before since she was away from limelight. But Neetu ji is totally aliafied in the way she speaks and all (reference to recent Kofee with Karan episode). Miss the older simpler version of Neetu ji.
