A passenger sitting next to me on a flight about a month after 9-11 appeared to be middle eastern and was reading a flight training manual during our flight. You can only imagine my own internal narrative!

i think ricky is on form here... he is being satirical by showing how western people are very uptight about terrorism. and he uses himself as a prime example which is pretty self deprecating and honorable

no, no. he doesn't pay 10k for a name check on the news. name check and first class are not the same thing. planes go down and first class people don't get named because they're in first class. he would get named on a budget flight too, because he's famous. someone somewhere knows what plane he's taking, if it crashed he would be mentioned because he's ricky gervais, not because he paid to be mentioned in the event of a crash. leave the comedy to professional comics.

+ Alexfolledemoi Why would you say that? Many plane crashes are not high speed nose into the ground. Pilots can usually make a plane come down in a landing position - just faster than what is safe. So belly down sliding crash landings are more common than slamming into a mountain or building.

I have to fly from Sydney Australia to London Heathrow, and back again, every two years. The whole time I’m on that bastard plane, I’m bloody terrified. I literally have to talk myself through every hour. Lol! I take a Valium, and I have a Bloody Mary after take off.....I am no problem for a while! 👍🏼

Loved it really good material and jokes.

I flew to England 1 week after 9/11. It really wasn't a great idea. Getting caught up at Picadilly Square protests. I had PTSD, like most Americans did. On the he flight back, 1 Australian woman was getting drunk and pushing her seat into my knees. I wanted to say something to you the stewardess but my uptight English husband said to let it be...for 8 hours. We're divorced.

Luckily there is an extension on the chrome store that blocks the end cards from appearing. User customisation is a powerful tool. Use it

i really don't 'get' Facebook. I saw a child's picture today and his face was normal size but his skull was massive and everyone was saying that he was gorgeous when clearly he wasn't. His head was too big for his face. but I couldn't comment because you have to be friends to do that and i didn't want to to be friends with a kid with a disproportionately big head, so I couldn't comment. You remember that internal investigation, can't remember which branch did the investigation, but there job was to see what they could get by the systems they set up on the plane, and it was like 9000 items that wasn't deadly but the items were things that look like stuff there supposed to have the system to caught, from metal, chemical, that was kind of scary to find that out, so I get what he saying and the truth of the internal struggle we go through in the real world to being judgemental and not wanting to sound or think racist or any other bad thought amd thats what the sjw's of the world don't get, or allow for, so easy to just sling accusations, plus its part of our fight or flight defense that is in every animal on the planet

This is actually a very funny way to depcricate racism.
