Rick Wright's solo albums are very underrated. I find them fascinating. Love the athmosphere.

It's a shame that this album has long since been deleted. IMHO it's one of the best PF solo albums.
David Bowie' vibe in there!

Rick truly was a great vocalist. Such a shame he didn't like his own singing. Love his work on Pink Floyd, and I'm excited for his solo works that I have yet to discover.

rick wright is a genious and the underrated member of pink floyd. whatever of the rick wright solo album is better than all roger waters albums. in my opinion.
Thanks again for sharing this solo album of Richard "rick" Wright unforgettable memories. RIP in heaven.🍁
Now you feel it, a shiver and you begin Frozen breath that scrapes across the skin And a sound you've never heard before, you screaming Welcome to the world of random noise Where you simply haven't got a choice When they push your levers and pull your strings It's another world, it's a better world that we bring Here you are on the planet of hot and cold Where you'll do as exactly as you're told In a world of a 1000 furry toys You can hear the screams Of little girls and boys It's a charming noise If you really want that kind of thing, mama Now you feel it, a shiver and you've begun When they pull those strings how you'll start to run! And there's no stepping off or stepping down It's another world and it's a better world, That's what we have found

Venía buscando este disco de Rick hace rato. En una época era mi disco favorito, me trae muy buenos recuerdos. Como esta canción.
Manu Katche : drums, Pino Palladino : bass and Tim Renwick : guitars... Unknown musicians...

Funny how the guitar sounds Gilmourish and the telephone voice Watersish.

I'm gratefull for this...
Gracias por compartirla.
I lost this CD, then found it - then lost it again. I might just give-in and repurchase or hope it shows up in an old DVD case one day.

One of the best songs on the album. A lot of the album was a little too abstract and disturbing for my taste, but there were a few gems (like this one) where it’s abundantly clear what he gave to Pink Floyd, and what was missing when his contributions ceased (pretty much from Animals onwards, until DB and, even more so, Endless River).

@Wilmer Waarbroek Actually I do suffer from depression and anxiety. Maybe that's why it was too morbid and disturbing for me.

The album is a tribute to his wife, Millie, who at the the time was suffering from severe depression.
Serious Phantom of the Opera vibes with this singing. I wish Roger Waters had learned to work with Rick and see the best in him, as their song-writing conceptualizations are much more similar than Waters and Gilmore. The best songs on this album should have been on a Pink Floyd album, they're so good.

Porque será que o clip dessa música sumiu do KZread? Aparece o Rick, umas senhoras e o Tim Renwick na guitarra. Essa música realmente dá a sensação de ter acabado de sair do ventre da mãe e começar a ter as primeiras visões do mundo.
British mentality music , thanks 👍

Richard Wright, Syd Barrett, David Gilmour, & Nick Mason, were the true talent of Pink Floyd, I often wonder where they could have gone without the interference of Roger Waters' ego grandstanding...

Reboot.
Sorry. But he is just imitating the Barrett style, and as an initiation, doesn't go anywhere. Nicely done guitar work elegant. Not truly Pink Floyd.
