I live in Andalucia and your video gives a true version. Should you return I strongly advise visiting the white village of Mijas pueblo( about half an hour from Malaga) It's extremely beautiful. Also not to be missed is the amazing village of Setenil near Ronda. The houses ,shops and restaurants are built into the rocks. Slightly inland are the beautiful emerald coloured lakes and nearby the famous el caminito del Rey. The AMAZING rock formation at el torcal is truly something not to be missed,as one feels as if one is on another planet. Please do come back to capture more.

I try to remain open minded about everything. The world consists of approx 198 countries & they all have their pros & cons, Spain included. I must say, i do love the generally warm, bright & friendly nature of the Spanish, plus their wonderful hospitality. My tour guides were Qualified Historians by the Spansih Gov.all who spoke about the flourishing of Iberia during the Islamic period. Islamic Iberia was a beacon of light during the European dark ages, Muslims, Jews and christians lived in harmony, this would be unthinkable in Christian lands.

Perhaps you think INVASION of Middle Eastern lands happening now are good and there to make those nations civilized and bring democracy?

MCclao2008 Actually in CataluÑa, País Vasco, Galicia, Asturias, Aragón and Cantabria, all Northern regions in general, are "very European". There's a huge difference between North and South.
Planning on spending 3 months in S. Spain in a year from now. Looks so very interesting. Thanks for posting this.
Enjoyed this video very much. Beautiful country. Wonderful architecture and friendly people.
I have always enjoyed Rick Steves journeys on PBS. Very educational and uplifting
I still remember visiting Sevilla during World Expo Fair in 1991 and want to go back again someday.
Your description of the Costa del Sol and the expats there is spot on, I'm howling with laughter. Very enjoyable video, I live a couple of hours from Sevilla and it is one of my favourite cities.

Yes, i laughed so much too! I couldn't live there, as there are way too many British expats. If i visit Spain, i want all things Spanish & not just see hundreds of Brits, spread out across an entire town or region. Just not my cup of tea!! haha No offence intended, but just speaking my truth. Take care.
Te voy a extrañar Andalucía y sobretodo el baile en frente al mirador del Alhambra con la música súper gipsy #priceless ☺️💙💃🏻🇪🇸
I love Spain, once I had pilgrimage and tour all northern Spain from west to East. It's so wonderful memories.

Yes you should go. It doesn't matter where you want to learn Islamic history.
Andalusia is home to incredibly fine horses.
Someday, I'll visit you Spain. Someday.

This charming travel video looks historical now that the pandemic "measures" are in place. How much we have lost.
