Thomas Stephen. People who see me up close have to be convinced that it ISNT my real hair. I’ve had them to take pictures to show others. When the attachment is 1-4 days old you simply can’t tell. Days 5 6 7 you have to look close to see it sonI just don’t let anyone get that close. Lol
Great video! Happens.

Your unit look great
Another great video, Rick. Main takeaway, other than keeping sufficient supplies on hand (including a good spare), is not to panic. It happens and a positive, patient response is all that's required. I think we all experience a glitch or two in the process. Thanks for taking the opportunity to share this as a teachable moment. Excellent use of humour and the Halloween theme! I agree with the "medicinal" use of drinkable alcohol to calm the nerves and celebrate ultimate victory (on any occasion, repeat as necessary), but would suggest leaving that until the new piece is in place. I recommend a good single malt Scotch, though being south of the border you likely prefer Bourbon. Looking great!! David p.s. I use the same hair system. Following your example I switched completely to the same glue, and not using tape on the back anymore. Makes clean up so much easier!! Just have to be a little more careful to avoid any folds at the edges when putting the system on. It's worth it. I also found the plastic applicator bottle version of the glue, which makes a world of difference. A little pricey here in Canada via Amazon, but I buy the glass bottle version from Superhairpieces to refill. Much more economical that way.

You soak in c22 now? Do you no longer soak it in water? I find soaking the glue in hot water will make it come right off.
It's interesting to see the difference in shape, density and especially color over the last few videos regarding the consistency in delivering hair systems that actually are closely matched to the previous ones a person might reorder. Unfortunately, nothing's changed as there's no apparent consistency in color, shape or density of the delivered units from one to another of Rick's units...This system's color is a mismatch as it's doesn't look anywhere near natural for his age and doesn't blend/fade into the natural greying sides of his scalp, naturally. This's been a problem over the 50+ years that I've worn systems. It's always a high anxiety 'wait and see' between orders when ordering systems regardless of what company one chooses.

Hi there, Rick has sometimes changed the color of system that he orders from us, which is why in videos you will see differing looks on occasion. They are all the same density and base, but the change in color can alter the overall look.

A comedian among us, lol. Don't take his comment seriously folks. Don't put your piece in WD-40.
One video showed that cheap hair conditioner is also good at removing glue.
Rick you look good with or without the hair
What color is this one? What percent of grey? Looks amazing!

Is this the HD111 or the M101. Which do you think is the most natural. Thank you
@Superhairpieces
9 ай бұрын
This is the HD111, which is the more natural between the two because it is a much thinner skin. That also means that it does not last as long as the M101
Shi##$$ happens. Glad it worked out just fine.

Rick, I haven't had hair on the top of my head since I was in my late 20s LOL. (Check any one of my videos for reference). Monday I have an appointment for a consult with Superhairpieces. I am a very nervous, as I am EXTREMELY new to a hair systems. Problem is a sweat a lot, living in S. Florida. Should I lean towards a mesh or the skin type? I have a lot of questions. Any advice for me sir? Thank you for any advice. I also want to possibly document my journey on my KZread channel. Thanks for any advice you can lend.

Good luck to you man! I’ll tell ya, after it is all said and done, the honest truth is that getting hair has really made a difference. I have always been happy easy and you’ve probably heard me say I ordered hair the first time just for fun - not thinking it would work. When it turned out so good I was shocked. It is easy to do and so very worth any bit of time it takes to maintain. My tip would be….don’t install too far back on your head and make sure the temples blend correctly. Those are the most important elements right there. Hope it goes well.😊

Plus, I’m in TX and sweat a lot and my scalp is super oily. With that I still prefer skin unit hd111. Lace will work as well but I find it more trouble to clean up.

Hello Rick. I wear but don't use glue. You mentioned you were "soaking" the other system. Pray tell, in what?

Soaking it in solvent so that it can be cleaned easily

@jamesroe4968

@@SuperhairpiecesThanks Rick. So the solvent you use is the C-22? Is it diluted with anything? And what do you wash it out with. When I use the C-22 to remove tape residue from my lace piece, even after washing I still have a citrus smell from my piece. Are you able to remove that from your pieces?
@Superhairpieces

@@jamesroe4968 You can view Rick's full maintenance process here kzread.info/dash/bejne/emicl6iQeZqqdKg.html&ab_channel=Superhairpieces he does not dilute the C-22 spray, just sprays it into a dish and then lets the hairpiece soak
thats a bad looking front and really looks like a hairpiece. that said get some sealer for your scalp. alcohol or adhesive remover always on hand. also easier (for me) to put it on from the back to front. no guessing for placement.
