@@cjleehaze Shane, if never killed and if they could get along seeing each other like brothers just like Rick and Daryl, would either make surviving in TWD feeling like it's on easy mode, wiping out any groups that Rick and his group would have had problems with later in the series. Or playing it in nightmare mode, Shane being far too agro and making the group bite off more than they could chew. Either way if Shane was still alive he'd completely change the course of the show

This was back when Daryl's personality was clearly defined. 2 seasons later and he shifts dramatically into a more stoic and silent role. I don't mind but I miss his original personality. He actually joked around more.

The actual logic here is the WRITERS forgot what kind of character Daryl was and therefore his personality change is not a natural progression due to meticulous character development and forethought. It's simply a choice the writers made. Daryl is a loud mouthed shit talker. Had he remained a loud mouthed shit talker, he would have developed into a much more interesting character.

Yeah, I loved the cop martial arts/teamwork stuff they did. It was pretty well choreographed too. Wrestling bigger opponents and disarming them was pretty realistic

After recently finishing TWD, Daryl is by far the most tragic character. He's very kind hearted but is ravaged by survivors guilt, everyone he cares about over the years dies in front of him no matter how hard he fights to protect them and for some reason he's cursed to be the last man standing, its why he would rather spend his time alone

The fact that Rick was in a coma and still have those moves is so surreal and so cool at the same time.

Was season 8, was when Daryl and Rick were trying to get the 50cal off the vehicle that crashed, they were fighting, and the fight was interrupted when the vehicle was, and then did explode. The awkward silence was when Rick said 'choke hold's illegal' kinda to lighten the mood

They cut back on budget and asked for more episodes, that's why the pacing has been awful since season 2. The writing overall started to really decline when they kept reusing the same big bad villain story
