7:35 if I remember correctly, the opening of the Beverly Hillbillies would recount how the hillbilly Jed Clampet got rich. I think the part Rick referenced went “then one day, when he was hunting for his food, out from the ground, came a bubbling crude (oil that is. Black gold. Texas tea).” That’s pretty much all I remember of the opening; I’m not sure if I saw it at any time other than when I was a kid and my grandma was babysitting.

It’s moments like the ending of this episode that hit me so hard. I struggle with depression every single day. When Rick says “the saddest piece of garbage in the entire cosmos.” I feel what he feels. There’s a reason Rick went back there.

I realize the answer is "then there wouldn't have been a show," but why wouldn't Rick just use an easier solution to keep Tony out, like maybe blanking Tony's memory of how to get there, or putting a shield around the toilet? If TV Sins does this episode, I hope they ask that question.
