@@Kobkvega578 Bureaucrat: an official in a government department, in particular one perceived as being concerned with procedural correctness at the expense of people's needs. Essentially its because Rick doesnt respect government or any kind of system that tries to control people. Rick thinks hes above government and anything to do with it.

"It's a figure of speech, morty! They're bureaucrats. I don't respect them!" That's still my favorite joke.

I love that one and the one right before about the bug's family 😁 My biggest laugh, though, is from the one when Morty talks about Germany 😬 These showrunners are some of the only ones pushing the limits, and cockiness can be very funny to me. There's nothing more cocky than one of your main characters calling another of your main characters *worse* than one of the worst (if not the worst) people ever. in the pilot episode! 😁

They were so shocked at some points... they'll get used to it.

yup. there's an end credits scene on the back of every episode, and it's often the best/most meaningful or funny part of the episode.

For those who don't follow behind-the-scenes stuff, it's a long-standing unwritten rule in Hollywood that you not use the name of your show in the show, especially in the pilot. The ending was Dan Harmon taking a dump on that "common wisdom" in a hilarious way.

A couple of days ago there was an anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. It's one of the events that actually changed the world history forever. There's an HBO miniseries of 5 episodes that briefly shows the entire strory. Not only does it have ratings higher than Game of Thrones but it's also quite educational. I mean, it's just five episodes but it will be entertaining, it will broaden your horizons regarding the world in general and the way governments act during the tough times, and as I've already mentioned, it's quite educational. I mean, if some of the measures hadn't been taked Europe or possibly even most of Asia and Africa would be an uninhabited wasteland.

There are usually after credits scenes as well. So you may want to watch those as well.
