Strider Adamus Mr. Nimbus only controls police near him. That’s why the police tried to arrest him until he told them to fight.

Gotta admit, I wasn't sure about Nimbus at first, but he actually seems like a fairly cool guy. By Rick and Morty standards, anyway.

Morty is becoming (more like) Rick; he's destroying whole civilizations and creating enemies for selfish reasons.

I think I commented this in another video, but both Summer and Morty are becoming like Rick in different ways. Summer looks up to Rick and wants to be like him. Morty gave a whole monologue about how Rick is a bad influence and shouldn’t be idolized, but even though he’s aware of that simply spending time with Rick is turning him into Rick. So one kid is doing it on purpose, the other unintentionally.

I like how "Richard" and Mr. Nimbus are basically just ridiculous versions of Mr. Fantastic and Namor the Submariner from Marvel Comics. Even down to Rick having his own "Council of Reeds," and Namor running around with every woman he sees 😂🤣

Actually no, they definitely weren't born through incest - Hoovie's son had to find someone else as he didn't have a sister. And its pretty obvious that it was just small house in a bigger world. Maybe in some later gens Hoovie's clan did mix again, but at certain generational depth it's barely considered an incest.

No argument here! The story was creative and engaging, and the characters are all maturing so well. Rick (kind of) helps out Morty and accepts Morty’s mess ups, Morty actually stands up to Rick and fends for himself, and Jerry and Beth are happier than they’ve ever been in their marriage. I’m honestly really happy for all of them.

That sea king guy makes me feel uncomfortable and yet he’s hilarious at the same time

Jim Gaffigan voiced Hoovie at the beginning of that cow civilization (the one who came through the portal first), Dan Harmon voiced Mr. Nimbus, and Tom Kenny (Spongebob) voiced the young non-believer cow being that ended up killing the king and then getting betrayed

When Jessica kissed Morty, I was like, "Yeah, SOMETHING is definitely finna happen to this girl." So I'm pleasantly surprised they found a way for her to reject Morty that I didn't see coming at all. Like, obviously they wouldn't let Morty get the girl.. but I'm glad they didn't do something boring like killing her off or some kinda memory wipe. I mean.. technically they DID kinda do that, but at least they were creative about it.

I'm confused as to why they assumed incest had anything to do with this episode. The first couple had 1 kid, the boy, who had 3 with 1 or more women we didn't see. Then it was generations later and there were a lot of people. I don't get any sort of George RR Martin vibe here.

High key I actually liked the brightness in this video. It went with the esthetic of the room.

I think part of why Mr Nimbus seems familiar is that Dan Harmon voices him and other than Birdperson which is more monotone, he kind of just uses his own voice for most of his characters.

It's actually so glaringly obvious how the creators are messing with the viewers regarding the whole continuity aspect of the show. Still, some people apparently don't get it, even though there's been countless gags, and even an entire episode dedicated to it (season 4 episode 6, "Never Ricking Morty").

Why leave out key scenes and snippets of the episode ("m-mother?", Rick and Nimbus making up and fighting again, Summer's fuck up) and then not even use up all ten minutes of the fair use timer?

I watched My Dinner with Andre after the Community episode. Its kinda boring but its really good and unique. It's very claustrophobic because the entire movie takes places at this dinner table, but you are engaged in listening to this conversation as if you are at the table! You enter that transcendentalist state you feel when in a deep conversation. It's very interesting

Glad to see you all together again, feels like it's been too long.

The B story with Morty reminded me of the story in Solar Opposites. The plot twists are always insane!

Also while she wants them just to be friends, she also implies that they'll be something more, like when Morty mentions how they've "missed their moment", she agrees but also adds "-but there will be more... for both of us. Goodbye, Morty.". But then again it's Rick and Morty so I bet we won't be seeing that plot until next season or it's just gonna be mentioned in conversations or flashbacks. 👀
