Phil X is great too. He's not Ritchie Sambora and he didn't write the songs but Phil is super talented and probably the best guy for the job. Anybody that filled Sambora's touring duty would be hated. I love Ritchie as much as you do and this vid shows why he's worth $65M. He's kick-ass guitar player. He drank his way out of a job and somebody had to take lead guitar for the tours. No reason to hate Phil X for doing it and doing it well.

It's never that easy. They "paid their dues" long before they were famous. These guys started by hours and hours and years of practicing. Then they played bars, dealing with drunks, lugging their own equipment, getting home at 6 a.m., etc. etc.
