If your ever feeling down in the dumps, just watch these two ladies and their overflowing excitement and enthusiasm for things you and I may not even notice. On the Scottish waste heap! The things they get into raptures about, with a view to making jewellery or magical creations at some later date! I always come away smiling, because of excitement in finding a marble, also known as “cod marbles!” A broken off dolls ear! Etc etc! You will come away smiling with a different outlook on life! Well done ladies! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙋♀️😘😘💐💕
I can listen to you 2 allll day...So soothing! In a mad crazy world, You are an Oasis of Calm....🌹🌹 Thank You 2...
When Alex found the doll's leg, I yelled out "It's a leeegggg!!!!" And my mother looked at me like I was mental!!!lol Thank you for another wonderful adventure ladies!!❤❤

You are so fortunate to be able to spend time together doing fun things! The bond the two of you have is so precious.
Thank you for taking us along, ladies!! 🥰
Sooooo glad to hear you referring to the reclaimed tile and pottery garden path project. I SO want to see that project and I think you'll be surprised how easy it is to do it in increments. No need to put the project off, thinking of it as daunting and you have to accomplish it in entirety. Start at your doorstep, so every day crossing your threshold, the beauty of it will be inspiration to do another segment.😉 Happy Easter ladies!

Yes I agree exactly and hope they start soon. Always interesting and pretty pottery shards to be had and placed in the pathway!
The little boar is so cute, you should totally cast that in silver too!

I get so excited Saturday nights because I have something to look forward to watch on Sunday!! I love watching you ladies find the items from 100 years ago and tell us the history that comes with the piece. So awesome! I hope you never stop making these videos and congrats on the 100,000 subscribers! I'm happy to be a part of your channel.❤
Hi . The small blue German marble we use to call them pea wee marble when I use to play with them many years ago. So nice to watch you and your mother doing something both of you like doing. Have a good Easter.

The little item from the steam engine has the words: 1 Atmosphere is 1 kilograms per square inch. That's how they measure pressure inside a vessel. Love the finds! Such a diversity and so much history. ❤
Happy Easter, one and all! Congrats, ladies, for reaching 100k subscribers! A wonderful achievement. Here’s to enjoying many more!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for making the lion pendant! I love craftwork and your visions to use found objects to make beautiful objects.
A HUGE congrats to hitting that 100K mark, and then some. Wonderful video as always. I love the "battered" cod marble.
Congratulations on reaching 100 thousand so quickly. That’s a wonderful milestone that some people never reach.
11:09 As soon as I heard you say “bead of the day”, I sang it out loud in the same tune as Robbie Cumming sings “Pub of the Week” in his (earlier) narrowboat videos. Very random? Yes. Did I need to share this information? NO!! 😳 Did it make me happy and also smile? Absolutely!! ❤🙂👍🏽 🙂🐿🌈❤️
Congratulations on hitting 100k! Also I loved the little frozen Charlotte that moved about when you showed all the finds cleaned up 😊
Always fun to go treasure hunting with you both.,and hearing the history behind your finds too.I love the little boar and the pretty small marble, and the unusual all over patterned pipe bowl. Walkways get little surprises each time you go.But it’s also the beautiful surroundings you’re in that is wonderful too.Looking forward to the next one ,Love n Light 🥰

When you find those huge glass stoppers you can use a water sander to fix chip to your liking. I thought I spied a water sander in your workshop before. That would be so cool!
I LIKE TO SEE YOUR STUFF YOU FIND WHEN IT IS CLEANED UP YOU CAN TELL MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU FOUND GREAT JOB
I love all your finds, but I especially like hearing all the history behind them, too. Congratulations on your 1 million subs!
Congrats on 100k! The pig reminds me of the figures that came in Red Rose tea packages.
I really enjoyed the video, the history of your findings and watching you make new things from the Past. Thank you so much for a great day out. 🤗❤️🌈🙏🕊️
Mum, I love what you said, the bee's are out, hibernation I spotted them 2 weeks ago what they were drained of energy, if anyone sees a bee struggling, try and pick her up and but her in safety I love watching mum and daughter they have taught me so much
You mentioned that they had a special opener for the cod marble bottles. Have you ever found one of those openers?
Happy Easter 🐰🐣 !
Thank you ladies, that was a very entertaining and informative episode, loved it all, cheers!!!🥰😘😘💕👍👍
I love watching y'all recover all your amazing finds. Congratulations on reaching 100K subscribers!
Beautifully filmed and fabulous finds, so interesting ladies!
I love how you dig all the history of people that have been forgotten. Have you ever thought putting them in wikipedia?
All that patterned broken china would be fabulous in mosaics…you two should make something. Would be good sellers!
Have you considered making a paving stone with bottle stoppers. Based on videos I have seen, you would put the bottle stoppers upside down in a mold and pour concrete over them. I imagine it would also work with the flat bases of broken bottles. It would be a nice way to use all those beautiful broken colored bottles. Lovely video, as usual. Cheers Ladies.
Such great information about the history of things that you find always a joy to watch! Thanks so much for sharing this 😊 ❤️ 😀 ☺️
Hey girls, I love watching all your adventures, been watching for a few years now, Alex has beautiful hands, mom has a beautiful smile, and you all can make beautiful charms from you finds, love from the USA,
I love the onion skin marble a nice find I watch Rocks Cousteau he digs some lovely marbles..stay safe....
Peewee/peawee marbles. My grandfather used to have a very large glass jar full of marbles, so whenever we needed some we just dipped our hands in and filled our marble bags.
There is an American mudlarker that takes old bottles and makes whisky glasses and drinking glasses out of them. You guys are so crafty and so many bottles...gather same kind bottle cut them down for a set and sell. Just throwing an idea at you guys.
OMG OMG! So this is the first time I saw your beautiful kit cat and she is an EXACT TWIN to my kit cat Bootsie! It was like a glitch in the matrix. I about fell off of the couch. BLAHAHAHA 🤣 Congrats on 100k, you are on the way to 1mm! Love u both❤❤
Love you finds..thank you ever so much for sharing..God bless.. keep it up..
The broken basket looked simular to Balique, they made woven baskets which were so delicate...I'm sure other pottery manufacturers made them too . Some wonderful finds yet again ❤❤❤❤
I just love watching you guys fine history at the tip. Thank you for taking us along. That was great fun. From LIZ in California.💜😎🐇🐬🇺🇸 do not attempt to
Before the round up I stopped this to say Alex you were correct 5 seasons for you and us commentors! Haha Mudlarking Season!! Where would we all be without that? Also that piece you put next to your little boar on the ground..I reckon you could say its a bit "cheeky".
I wish I lived closer to collect the bottles but it's like the old song say's So faraway 😊♥️♥️♥️🙏
Great finds. Love the happy recap with the window view. Very creative 👏👏
Who would want a boar on their cake? 😂 I absolutely love this channel and you ladies rock!
I love playing find the penny doll! So cute!
“It’s a leg!” Such a bountiful dump! Caroline from The Johnsons would be in Heaven there. It’s a long drive from Wales though.
Has the tiny doll got a name please as she is now a permanent feature in your video roundups, she always makes me laugh. Love todays finds such interesting stories you give us about the things you find. Thank you.
😂 Five seasons!!! Thanks for the laugh Alex. You ladies have a great Easter and thanks for the take along. Love from the USA
Your passion for the details of the history of the treasures you find really brings out the magic.
Gail & Alex could watch both your channels all day.love to hear your voices also the excitement when you find something good . I look forward with eager anticipation fof new episodes on both channels. Well done.
15:30 - It's most certainly a manometer, and a steam powered toy will have used a manometer to check the pressure in the boiler.

YES MOST CERTAINLY JESUS HAS RISEN INDEED!!! HAPPY RESSURECTION DAY to All that Believe ,All year long.
Such lovely little finds! Thank you for sharing, and caring about the history. By the by, my husband suggests that the wee boar with his hole-y bum could be part of a clay pipe smoking kit. Perhaps part of a tamp, a cleaner or ream. He recalls a bit of his great uncle’s pipe smoking habits and seems sure that could be what it is, albeit a poor man’s version probably.
Congratulations on your 100k. See you next week my lovely ladies.
I still laugh every time that little doll pops up in your reveal in strange places. She is magical and has great personality. Donna Northern Michigan

Happy Easter from Australia! Great mudlark and I love the "Wheres Pudding Doll" at the end, although peeping out of a dolly's eye is a touch freaky 😂
It's a peewee marble !
That piece of slate brings an idiom to mind. When something is ‘slated’ to happen or on a schedule it refers to actually being written on a slate like you found.
My grandfather was born in the East End of London in the early 20th century. He called marbles 'glarnies'. I still have the 'glarnies' he brought my father.

the tiny marble is called a peewee 😉 came back to say guess i should have watched all the way through before answering the question ,LOL
You should make light up funny faces using the cod bottles. they look like they have a happy face on each side you could even put some spikey hair in the tops. Just a thought of a craft you could do with slightly broken ones 😅

Some great finds the lions head was my favourite

Love the history and stories, thank you!,,
Why is a cod marble more valuable than a whole cod bottle? I bet there is a lot of people who have never seen a cod bottle before, like me, who would buy one.

And keep its cute face!
33:59 I think the "1 ATM" on the dial relates to 1 Atmosphere, so it may have registered pressure, possibly in a working steam boiler in a toy. I am told that the children in the U.K. also took the marbles out of the bottles and used them in their slingshots/catapults to shoot at ducks.
Congratulations on the 100.00
🇺🇸⚓️🇺🇸 Thank you for sharing! Really enjoy your excursions ❗️
