Es increíble, soy fan de Pink Floyd desde toda mi vida, he escuchado discos en solitario de David, de Roger y resulta que acabo de descubrir dos maravillosos discos del sr. Rick Wright ,ahora, cosa que no me perdonaré, Wet Dream y Broken China, son maravillosos, no puedo dejar de oírlos, no entiendo como este señor no tuvo mas repercusión, no entiendo como le dieron de lado en una nefasta etapa de la banda, y también se ve todo lo que aporto a ella sin tener ningún afán de protagonismo.En mi nombre y creo que también en nombre de todos los fans de Pink Floyd ,lo sentimos. Descanse en paz Sr. Wright.

Hubo una respuesta magnífica que dio David, se refería a ese protagonismo que siempre suelen dar las guitarras, pero Rick era esencial en Pink Floyd.

Honestly, I believe Rick Wright should have done the vocals on the album. When he did the song live with David Gilmour I was choke up with tears. AMAZING... the saxophone sole bridged it nicely to. RIP... getting teary eyed finishing this post.

+Dolorosakil -- Right, but it IS an absolutely beautiful song. I think it's fair to say Pink Floyd kinda stopped being a rock band at all, at some point. Maybe after _The Wall._ Doesn't matter if it's "rock" or not, they made great music.

Very apt of Rick to have Sinéad O'Connor sing this. Gone but loved forevermore indeed.

Sinéad O'Connor has a fucking beautiful voice, but I still wish Rick Wright's exit featured his voice. Or, perhaps, it was more fitting that he was the mastermind behind all of the beauty, using the notes to tell his swan song.

This is a great song no matter what, but I prefer the live version with Rick Wright singing lead with David Gilmour and his ensemble. Rick's lead vocal is pained, but very emotional. The chorus sounds better with at least four singers, so there's that. And, of course, you get your standard-issue Gilmour guitar solo with it, so there's that too.

My favorite Rick Wright solo albums are Wet Dream and his compilation with Dave Harris "Zee". I never really liked Broken China because of the 90s sound but I love Sinead O Connor, she has a beautiful voice.

Sinead is a big fan of Roger Waters. She love his music and say he is the biggest composer fro over 100 years.She also loves Pink Floyd from 1964-1983. She hate the newer verions of Pink Floyds song preformed by Gilmour.I am agree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I wrote my phd about Pink Floyd. I also talk with MR PINK FLOYD HIMSELF ROGER WATERS.He was very special..............But i love hes music

This is the missing link between A Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell. I've always had a problem with the latter, but this album makes DB make more sense--as a PF album.

Amen!! The sad truth is that Roger is just NOT that interesting a musician. He needed the rest of the gang. Wright's harmonic language is incredible.

Lyrics need correcting. If you listen to Sinead singing she sings these words: "You'll see! You'll feel like, you'll feel like a banner, unfurled and gently blown." The suggestion clearly is that "YOU WILL." Not having the proper tense dilutes the urgency of the line.
