I have stated before that Richard Tarnas is a National Treasure, I'd like to rephrase that statement to Richard Tarnas is an INTERNATIONAL TREASURE and his breadth and depth of knowledge is EPIC! I was so thrilled to see this pop up on my feed. I try to never miss an opportunity to hear him. I always learn so much from him. He is nothing short of genius and his contributions are Cosmic. I look forward to his next book! Thank you for this.

I think it will be very interesting to study the mundane astrology of Sweden these years. Pluto in Capricorn, Saturn in Pisces, and Uranus early degrees of Gemini. Pluto return was the second and it's safe to say many geo political changes are taking place.

This is the wisdom and insight I have been seeking in these insane and enraging times. I have been exploring depth psychology for years but it been missing something for me as an activist, deep ecologist and rebel with far too many causes. Archetypal astrology is the language that enables us to experience the nuance and wonder of unseen energies and imagination that is activating in the current cultural and ecological milieu

Been waiting to hear from Richard. Looking forward to this!

As a person just starting to take a look at astrology, I can see that it does seem to work. I am developing an appreciation for Richard Tarnas and his work and will now plan to read his books. What I don't understand is why astrology works at all. Would love to hear more about that. Maybe it will be addressed in his books. At any rate, thank you Richard for your deeply thoughtful and well researched approach.

Richard is so brilliant. We are living with these archetypes. The U.S. is having a delayed 1st Pluto Return. I was born with Saturn at 12 Libra and Venus/Neptune at 20 Libra, which is a conjunction in my 11th House. I have always identified with Circe the Enchantress since I was a kid. I also have a SUN MOON in Honest Sagittarius and Mercury on the Galactic Center. That's what I am meant to do: tell the truth, I do this with each of my clients.

I am just reading for the third time....COSMOS AND PSYCHE even better third time round.....am now endeavouring to study astrology...and I'm old

I think Astrology does demonstrate material and psychological determinism, but only to the extent that our awareness of the bigger picture is limited. We know that an object stationary or in motion, stays stationary or in motion until acted on by a force. In this way, the narrative of our lives is played out unfailingly and unerringly, until a broader awareness, afforded to us by Astrological means, empowers us to choose engagement with the narrative, or simply observation of its passing, at will. Objectively (materially), what will be will be. Subjectively (spiritually), we are ultimately free to take or leave, see the dream for what it is, or believe it. TEMET NOSCE

As far as difficult times, who do you want to be responsible for dealing with the difficult times? I prefer to have that responsibility than defer it to someone else.

Imagine if the scientific community had one iota of a clue that this stuff is real and true. How the world would change over night. Someone must make a grand leap forward and bridge the divide. Some outsider with deep scientific genius and equally deep pockets.

I mostly feel Saturn in my field these days. Cooler climates tend to constrict, lots of Cayenne pepper. We lack Vitamin D here since ever.
