You may be able to if you know a person that knows a person that knows a person otherwise you'd probably have to make a trip and hope to run into someone that knows him. Yes I did say "illegal" simply since the IRS doesn't get a cut so he's a bad bad felon 😒. Gotta love uncle sam

I wish more guys like Richard were in the boardrooms of spirit making companies. This man is a genius and an artist with spirit making.

People would tell you it’s not safe to not have a license but clearly some of these people are disadvantaged by not being allowed to produce or sell alcohol freely as they please legally.

@@Triqkshot true and not true. These guys obviously care about their product but don’t ever confuse yourself because they make this shine for money as well. Nothing wrong with that at all. They make their shine and they get paid. Quality work

I used to want Richard and Craig to have their own distillery cus they deserve it… now it’s because I GOTTA taste some of these creations

I don't drink much, but Richard makes me want to try all his liquors. The man is so knowledgable and inventive, always taking in what he's constantly learning and expanding on.

Richard is a genius guys. I love just hearing him talk lol

I just sat and binged watched these two for 4 hours straight, I ended up grabbing a bottle of whiskey and am very very drun....happy right now. Very enjoyable watch glad youtube suggested this!

I would literally drop everything in my life move my family down south and go work for these two if you all ever see these comments you have a hard-working dedicated employee looking for some good work

I don’t comment very often, but holy shit I’ve been binge watching Richard since last night, I can’t get enough of this man’s content. It’s so interesting to watch a connoisseur like Richard pushing an illegal product using such old fashioned methods. This isn’t a product made by advanced technology on a production line. This is a product made by blood, sweat, tears, and experience. Nothing special except the originality of the crafter, and Richard has that in spades.

Richard and his brother are remarkable!

He always comes up with the most unique things to make his liquor.

This is free enterprise at its finest. Hard working men (or women) creating a fine product. Boom.

Lmfao I was about to make this comment. There is another video of a moonshiner tasting the liquor and he's like "Oh YEAH that's good" as he damn near has a seizure while trying to swallow it lol.

Love all of his unique recipes. Especially the tea.

Is this a series? I need more.

As a fellow lover of the alcohol industry, use older barrels to age spirits. New barrels give a lot of oak flavours than the used barrels. Ideally 4/5th fill should be perfect to balance that desired fruit aromas and marry with the oak for a matured spirit with a more subtle oak extraction.
