I was born 1990 and agree with everything you say. I love how they say never meet your heroes yet I did as a young boy in the mid 90s and let me say he never let me down one bit. I may not remember much from back then yet I'll never forget his warm smile and king like presence on his makeshift throne in that milwaukee autostore and he seemed as genuinely happy to see me as he was the folks he met hours b4 me that waited in line that reached outside the store and then some more

I can remember like yesterday as a kid my neighbor excitedly telling me about just watching the Daytona 500 when Mr. Petty and David Pearson tangled on last lap! Congrats Mr. Petty on 75 years of Petty family racing!

I've always wanted a Richard Petty Belt Buckle, hopefully I could buy one once I appear at his Museum this Summer, haven't been there in 30 years!!! I have the Charlie One Horse Hat modeled after Richard Petty, also the Cool Ray Polaroid Roadmaster 300 Sunglasses he wore in the 1970's as well early 1980's, great piece to have!!!
