Petty Enterprises Reunion Dinner PART 1 - Former employees tell their favorite Petty racing stories!

This is Part 1 of 2 from the Petty Enterprises Reunion Dinner. Former employees gather to reminisce, tell old racing stories and catch up on what everyone has been up to. This year, we asked as many former employees as we could what their favorite/most memorable moment was from their time working for the family.
Let us know your favorite story from this video in the comments below, or tell a story of your own! Stay tuned for more from this exciting night.

Congratulations on your wonderful careers. I was a big fan back in the day. I still have models, die cast, pictures, magazine article's and slot cars of Richard from the 1970's. I watched so many great races. I even met you in 1986, at Michigan. You were absolute class. I'm very grateful for those days. I'm also very sad that you will be running Toyota now. In my mind, you represented America, and were my hero. I think you just did the most un-American thing you could. I'm sorry, but I can't follow Nascar, or you anymore. God bless you..... Thanks again for the memories.

What a great annual celebration of all of people who worked with the team at Petty Enterprises over the years. Some more famous than others, but all contributed to the success they enjoyed. Amazing group with an amazing history.

I met Richard in Daytona in 1972 at i believe the Days inn when we were staying there for the race and my late Mother saw him walk into a room and told us. Of course we got our camera and walked over and knocked on the door and took Richards picture and signed autographs. Cale Yarborough was there also, posed for a picture, great memories!
