My ex and I sang this song for our daughter's wedding last year. She and I had gone to see Richard sing at a nearby venue the year before and she fell in love with his voice, lyrics and special talent that is so Richard Marx. I found this song on line and introduced it to her and she loved it! I've been a Richard Marx fan since he started and went to one of his concerts in the 80's. It was one of the best concerts ever and I became a fan for life. Thank you, Richard, for being an amazing talent. Your lyrics move me like no other. Your melodies are haunting and lasting. Keep writing and singing. The world is a special place because you are in it! Daisy is one lucky lady!!

Once upon a time, this song would have been playing on the radio somewhere...often. It is a pop duet hit, no doubt. God, I hate what's on a lot of the airwaves these days. How is it that the power of our listening preferences isn't being paid attention to? I think a smart music business person needs to get the right channel up and running that a shit ton of listeners older than 20 and under would listen to.
