You see these and land cruisers everywhere in Australia, for the simple reason that they really do work off road and they really do last a very long time.

The Patrol is sporting an entire R35 Nissan GT-R VR38 drivetrain that has been stroked out to a 4.1 liter engine build by T1 Race Development. Not only that, but this Patrol also has a build Shep Transmission as well as GT-R axles, hubs, brakes, rear subframe, everything! They sent a GT-R over to the shop, and they got a shell back essentially. Jeremy Clarkson would be proud!

knightrider1545 I'll do the review for you, I owned one for 15 years. It is a great car with ample power and unbeatable off-road ability. You just need to be rich to drive it anywhere. Mine averaged 26 litres per 100km. When you're in 4l on the tracks for the day, make sure you have both tanks full and a couple of Jerry cans as back up.

  • @Bo_Hazem

Martin Ferguson Wow! 26 is pretty high. I get around 17.3L/100km on my short wheel base 2016 Y61 4.8L, manual (4.111 ratio). But yes, it drinks petrol, so better avoid unnecessary weight and additions, just put what you really need like avoiding steel bumpers.
