Yo Gary don't ever... EVER compare Wawa to a 7-11. It's nothing like a 7-11. Wawa has a fresh deli that you order from and they make it fresh for you. Most of them just happen to be a deli/gas station. But the gas part just started in the last 15 years or so. Before that they were just a local deli chain and now they've grown to be all over the North East pretty much and Florida. But it is in no way like a 7-11 food wise. #WawaForLife

Wawa is different than a 7/11. Wawa's us made to order and is more equivalent to what you can get from a place like Subway or Quiznos. They even bake their own bread. They are basically a quasi deli.

I've been going to Wawa for 30 years. Their sandwiches used to be top-notch, but they're not nearly as good since they began producing their own bread/rolls. The 90s was probably their best in terms of quality - now it's more of keeping costs down as they offer 12" $5 hoagies (subs) quite often.
