Props to the asian mother. So many first generation immigrants will back down from fights due to language problems and not wanting the hassle. I saw this with my parents and wished just once they'd fight back instead of whining.

Why do people show their hand? Never tell anyone when you have called the police, they usually get violent when they realize they aren't getting their way.

Story 1. I've actually seen a sinus at private property no trespassing and then in small print the sign said private gun range random fire and we are not responsible for your safety.

Don't engage with a drunk person or drunk people trespassing on your property if you are unarmed, just call the police. He should not have bothered to tell the people that he called the cops, they could get violent on you and some of them did so. Also some of those people were already drunk so they should not have been allowed to leave in their cars.

Last: After some years in the military, people learn to distinguish real authority from authority given by a uniform. In this case, the sgt had authority given by his sgt. uniform. OP had real authority given by his knowledge of the swampy area. A competent professional soldier would have noticed OP's air of command + knowledge of the area and allowed him to continue to lead the march.

The second video happened to me. While passing through a small town, on a street that had no parking on my side, but did on the other. A utility truck coming the other way, crossed the double yellow, well into my lane and sideswiped my truck. My skid marks, inches away from the curb, showed I was as far to my right as possible. The accident clearly not my fault. I had a neighbor call the cops(before cell phones) when the cop got there, he immediately went back to talk with the guy who hit me. After 10 minutes, I went back to give my side of the story. The cop said, “shut the fuck up and get back in your fucking truck “. Needless to say, I never did get to give my side of the story and had to live with the damage. I found out that the guy who hit me, was a well known contractor who lived in town and knew all the cops.

As to the first story the idiot and her son would be lucky if they didn't lose their license to practice law. As to the story with acident the idiots police boyfriend and his friend are lucky they didn't get suspended for misconduct. As to the third story it was funny how the nanny handled the problem. As to the last story its good to see a power hungry know it all get his ego deflated and not be able to do anything about it.

I always kind of chuckle about land disputes in the US as people there are descendants of illegal immigrants unless they are one of the Native First People tribes. All of the land was stolen from them. But being Texas I'm surprised that the OP of that story didn't head out with a shotgun and tell people to get lost.

7:00 A Texan with a huge ranch acts nervous when surrounded by drunken (and high from drugs) Qaren and fellow revelers? I am disappointed by this OP. He should have strapped on his 2 six guns and stood on his porch and yelled at them to git before he drew his Colts! A bullet whizzing past her shell like ear would have made Qaren imitate Usain Bolt

First story even one person not accidentally trespassing is wrong let alone 50 or more Last story Hollywood loves to play up stereotypes and give people who don't know better what they expect been taught to expect from the movies. The shouting in your face gunny, the trench coat wearing police detective though more recently in a number of shows thy have broken those stereotypes

3 acres is about 1 football field. So 300 acres is 10 football fields. Maybe the lot is irregular or has much holes and vegetation. It is a big enough plot. The owner does deer hunting on the land. It seems like bigger than most parks or party locales. Yes, in the country, especially in Texas, people have guns. Why doesn’t the owner have deer cams and come up with his truck with a gun rack?

@lrajic8281 WAY OFF. A regulation football field is 57,600sf an acre is 43560sf. So 1 acre is ~75.625% of a football field. This means 300 acres is equivalent to ~226.875 football fields, or 22.68× more than you're guess

Story 1: It's possible that Karen did pay a scammer for the party space and signed a bogus contract. OP should have asked to see her contract and for info on the person she talked to. Karen may have been *technically* right, so naturally, she would be upset at OP. Still, it's OP's land and permission wasn't given by OP. It could have been better handled as a fraud case instead of a trespass case.

@@colbylawson5331 NP! Go ahead and Google the phrase "throngs of people partying and dancing about" from the first story, and you'll see that not only has it never been used on Reddit, it's never been used on the entire internet or in any published work for that matter. This is an unnatural phrasing that no human would use (or has ever used), so we can safely assume it was produced by an AI. And as this story exists nowhere online, there is nowhere that the channel owner could have pulled it from. That means he didn't source it naturally, but rather created it himself for the channel, likely with the help of an AI like ChatGPT. Take care!

@@brianaschmidt910 You weren't convinced by what I replied to the other commenter? You could try coming at it a different way. What part of the story makes you think its true (other than the fact that there is a robot voice reading it)? Let me know. While on the other hand, many aspects of it seem fantastical and unbelievable. That on top of the fact that it doesn't exist anywhere and was provably not written by a human means you can safely assume it isn't a true story. Hope you have a nice day.
