This reaction is up thanks to recommendations by @nada-8-4-2, @REN4eva, @IKronosI, @Ariel_Astara initially, but also with a few more additions like @francesdoll4039 and @igorvukolic2997! Great choice, last part. Great reaction as always! My take on this trilogy is: Part 1: Ren portrays the accuser, the defensor and the judge. The sack bag man is "we", common folk, and he is defending accusing and judging at the same time. When he draws eyes on the man and is about to set fire on "us", "we" finally are capable of seeing what the accuser (the big companies and politicians) are about to do to "us", we create a revolt and a change in the way society operates. So, I see part 1 as both a testimony and a hopeful wish for the future to come; "if we learn how to see and be critical, if we open our eyes, we will overcome this challenge of breaking the cycle of greed". Part 2: It's basically how politicians, the rich and leaders operate in our current broken system. Part 3: It's taking the sack out of an individual to see a specific case. Saying with that "That's a daily story that ends up in self-destruction moved by the greed that our society promotes". The only way to break out of this cycle is again to open our eyes. But this time, Ren offers a solution. Opening our eyes through proper education and raising our children to be more critical. The outcome of Jimmy is nothing but an exaggeration of the self-destruction that awaits most of us in this system, hence the need for change.

Great reaction 💖.Ren has said he doesn't have the answers. He believes it's collective intelligence that can solve many problems. With the power of the world wide web, people can come together to find better systems than the ones we have now. He is not an optimist per se, but believes that it takes optimism, the belief that change can happen, to make a better future. That's my interpretation of his words.

Agree with you (again, this is becoming a habit) about the element of fear working with greed to keep us stuck in the game. Good governance should remove some of that fear, in principle. I see this as a reminder of the distorting effect of money when it is an end in itself as opposed to a means to an end, and where the impact of a transaction on all its parties becomes opaque to those participating in it, allowing distortions to go unchallenged.
@AleksReacts

The habit of agreement remains on my end as well, it seems. Yes, there are multiple factors, including fear, greed and losing perspective of what money is really for. However, it is not a new concept. Like "Eminem (sort of) did it" and "Plan B (sort of) did it", "Merchant of Venice (sort of) did it". By now, Disney could start every song with "Tale as old as time..." 😉 The thing is, if a new "tale as old as time" does not "translate" the meaning for the new generation, the main message of those old tales disappears into the sunset. That is why Ren is important, in my mind.
Once again, a reaction to ponder as much as the song. Thank you xx Sally

Another great reaction my poetic partner 😁This video is one of my favourites from Ren, he wrote all of the musical scores, and the whole concept is his. He and his close friend Sam directed it together (as they often do). There is only one break in the take, and that is when the camera goes behind the wheelchair, this was required to move the microphone from Ren's jacket lapel, waterproof it, and conceal it in his now loosened tie, because he takes his jacket off in the next scene... because he only had one jacket 😂
@AleksReacts

Thank you so much! Seriously, he only had one jacket? 😂 Well, he sure made the best of it. 😉
The reality is we idolize those who rule the money game and those who reject the money game. But those of us who just yearn for stability are demonized. It's a control game, a power game. And until the masses can stand together against it we are doomed. Like #2 says: "polarize the people" so we never get to that common purpose.

Well known strategy throughout history. Then again, the masses keep falling for it.
Another insightful reaction. Thank you! MG 3 is one of my favorites. As a person who grew up as a dancer and spent years in theater, my fascination with this masterpiece moves beyond Ren's message, spoken word, musical compositions, and piano playing. I'm in awe of Ren's, Samuel's, and the crew members' impeccable timing when it comes to blocking (more like an exceptionally choreographed dance piece) and their hitting every mark perfectly on cue to the music -- right down to when (and where) the spinning globe stops. Your MG 1 and 2 videos didn't show up in my feed. I'm subscribed with the bell set to All, but lately I'm not getting notifications from lots of channels. I was surprised to see only a few hundred views of your Money Game reactions as many RENagades love them. I wonder if something's off with your notifications? Looking forward to watching your other Ren reactions tomorrow. Time to turn off all electronics and wind down for sleep. 🙋♀️💖

Thank you so much! I felt what you said about the impeccable timing, but I didn't even know how to express it other than say that everything is put together perfectly. Thank you for pointing that out so clearly and eloquently. Now I have to check out the globe again. MG1 did not have notifications turned on. However, because I noticed nothing is moving, both MG2 and MG3 did. Not sure why all 3 are slow on the uptake as I also understood that this is a series worth watching and reacting to. Turned out it was worth it, regardless of the number of views, as I personally found a lot of value in all them. Who wants to find them, will eventually and hopefully will also enjoy them. No rush. 😉 I'd appreciate your feedback on the others, it seems you have your own well thought through insights to offer and a perspective I could never have. ❤

Sam is Samuel Perry-Falvey, a filmmaker that Ren collaborates with on his most ambitious projects. He's the co-director (with Ren) and cinematographer on this, as well as Money Game Part 1, Hi Ren, Jenny, Screech, and Violet, and several others as well.

Samuel Perry-Falvey is Ren's friend who films many of Ren's videos. He did Hi Ren, Money Game 1 & 3, the Jenny/Screech/Violet trilogy, Power, Genesis, and many others. This was their biggest budget work, with most of the money going to the rental of an excellent piano, and Ren's custom suit. 😊

The piano was donated by Yamaha to be in the video. The professional jazz piano player (Charlie) and the string quartet probably cost plenty to pay them. Also the large crew that Ren had to hire to do all the maintenance and building of the set, the plumbing of the water and the many extras. The bts videos shows all the work and 60-70 people crew involved in this masterpiece. I've heard a few price tags. Anywhere from $35,000-50,000. Hollyweird could not touch that budget, their price is probably 20x that.

Why would you watch people who state the obvious, though? Wouldn't that be a waste of time?
Yep, not much to it. I guess to me the real message is just like Ren said it, education and parenting. Without that being fixed I cannot see a way out, as he says in the first "As the world turns,the whole world burns". He did another trilogy alongside this which he just shows off his story telling skill, sort of a modern Opera, The tale of Jenny and Screech, There is a combined version that everyone is asked to respond to. I think you would find it interesting. Not sure if you like rapping and songs of him struggling with his life before now, many of his sons are like that. The other outstanding are his 2 duets with Chinchilla, especially Chalk Outlines (Live version) But take your time, you have a fan base to please and variety is good. Thank you for your reaction.

Maybe if enough I's become willing just do things because we can or for the others around us. You know not be so selfish and self-centered then maybe we could grow up past the thought of tribalism and more of a perspective of a human species working together to take care of the only planet we have to live on instead of thinking like children, Mine , Mine, Give me. Seeing how Ren's stuff will never be aloud to play on the radio or anything conglomerate owned and the news is nothing more than pulp now. I mean Edward R. Morrow must be rolling in his grave over the fact that news is no better then a tabloid magazine talking about aliens. Hell it's all controlled by fear and sloth...

I did have to go back and add notes after I heard all three stories, because I couldn't connect things before I heard them, but listening over my own reaction I was like "Yeah, this too!" I appreciate Ren's talent and intelligence and it is an experience hearing some of his stuff for the first time. Noted on the 2 other suggestions. I'm not a rap fan, but unlike many rappers, Ren often really has something to say. Now, on a totally separate topic, are you a LotR fan? Your handle might suggest that.

Digestible. 😊 As a singer, I have wrapped myself up in so many different beautiful styles of music for decades and I'm over the moon to now have Ren's work in my ears. His tragic past life story and subsequent victorious present and future, has pulled at my heart strings. 💗 Sunday it is, then, for the Tales! oOoOO I'm so excited!! 👏 I can only imagine what you were thinking!! Incredible. Awwww thank you for noticing my "name"! We have so much in common, older chicks both, not much into rap, but some of it is great (like Ren's or some of the older stuff, when it all started) and my copy of LOTR has been read so many times it's in tatters. Only, you're a-typical - The Shire instead of Rivendell or Lothlorien. I, on the other hand, am very typical there - elves all the way. 😂 The fact that my reaction was worth watching to a singer is praise indeed. Thank you so much for that! ❤ Don't laugh at my Tales reaction, I had to add all that I missed at that first listen in writing and believe me, I'm sure I still missed a lot. 😆

That's my girl! 😂 Admittedly, my copies of the books have been used... But... my wonder and senses were heightened and sustained by Peter Jackson's movies. 💗 I love taking bits n pieces from each race and enjoying their uniqueness, but the Shire feels like home. 🤗 Awww you are too sweet! I would never laugh AT you... Only WITH you! There's no judgement only enjoyment! I'll tell you a little line that most Renegades swear by... "The greatest thing besides watching Hi Ren for the first time...IS.. Watching someone else watching Hi Ren for the first time!" 👏😂 And that rings true for ALL his videos! We call it "the rabbit hole" and it's very deep and so worth every moment spent. I've only known about him for almost a year and my enthusiasm has not waned one bit! I feel like a teenager... Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments. This is why I'm liking this reaction thing more and more. I get to meet so many cool people, some close to my age and with a similar view of the world. I'm not great with emoticons, but I'm sure you can tell I'm delighted to have met you and it's a pleasure as well as an honor to watch Ren's stuff together. Shire for me feels like the countryside where I go to unwind, while Lothlorien feels somehow closer to heart - appears cold on the surface, but it's actually warm inside. It also might be too many breakfasts in the Shire for me - I do not eat breakfast at all, never have. 😂 I also agree on the LotR series, but the Hobbit was 50:50 for me, some of it was just what I imagined and some of it totally went off the rails. The orcs were so much cooler in the LotR trilogy too.
