This team is holistically better than we have been. O line is much better, WR is disgusting, good tight ends, running group is dynamic, and Levis has shown his competitive attitude. Titans have a competitive defense. I truly don't understand why people think they will just beat the Titans lol

I said it in my main comment but its not that they think the Titans are bad, but that they're a ? team and those teams are so hard to judge sometimes its just easier to write them off and expect a surprise later. I definitely think their offensive line moves are going under the radar, as they not only got players to fill positions, but players that can switch positions such as playing both guard spots if need be. I don't think the teams in their division are necessarily that further ahead then them, though I'd still pick Tennessee to go no higher then 3rd in the division without something major occurring.

@@dylanlagraves1266 I completely disagree, many of our guys have left and been successful on other teams. The problems were with the coordinators and training staff. We had the most injured team ever to make the playoffs and took the 1st seed that year. These problems didn’t go away. Vrabel played very good late game situational football, but that was just in close games. We struggled coming back down at the half because of our team design. The team is much more balanced and is under a much much much better coaching staff. The thing is the Titans are one of the few teams that don’t get media coverage. The cowboys can be mediocre but the country knows each position. But not every member of the cowboys is elite. I def think the titans are a 9-11 win team. We can receipt this for later, I guarantee we make a wildcard.

Don't forget about them getting L'Jarius Sneed, who was the #1 lockdown corner in the league last year. If you're a team like the Colts, or Jets, or Chargers, or Bills, where you really only have 1 good receiver you're gonna have a rough time, because Sneed is that guy. Titans are gonna go 10-7 as the 7 seed.

Titans lost 5 to 7 games last season by 1 possession. That was with bad coaching, personnel, play calling, etc. They only got better on every phase. I don’t see how people just think it’ll be a cakewalk

@america1st721 Off of the top of my head, they have Sneed, Pollard, Cushenberry, Hopkins, Ridley. Those are all solid contributors, at the very least. I could probably name more if I took a sec. They're not bereft of talent.

@@My_Naginta don't forget Jeffrey Simmons. One of those players I don't care what the W/L of the Titans is, im circling him in team study as a guy we can't let influence the game plan. This is a team I can see having trouble gelling early on, coming together mid season with some scrappy wins, then dropping some late games to hit 7-8 wins. For me, as I've written elsewhere, the titans are the most ? team in the NFL. And ? teams are sometimes the scariest to evaluate. Dads a Washington fan and he's made no bones about it, even if they compete they are likely a bottom 10 team in the NFL. The Titans could be that or surprise and be a top 16 and that's makes them a trap game for any team.

If all 4 afc south qb’s reach their physical potential, it’ll be the best division in the nfl

The Titans had to get rid of the ghost of Todd Downing. He was that bad. lol! They needed an extra season to exorcise that demon. It was Vrabel's fault he had that much leash in the first place.

Think it’s more about just how overlooked they are despite them having similar to if not a better roster than the teams a lot of fans are treating it like an automatic W for. Nobodies saying they’re a playoff team.

We don't know what they got with Levis but they have made some moves this offseason to try and improve the tools around him offensively. I don't think they are a sure win as many fans assume, but I definitely think they are a ? for a LOT of fans and teams. We don't know what we're getting out of Brian Callahan at HC and I think if Mike Vrabel was there at HC a lot of those sure W's against the Titans you talked about wouldn't be as sure, he made due with an offense running on scraps at time and put out competitive Titans teams. I don't see them as a playoff team but I think if that offensive lines additions get to gel this could be a team that gets some surprise wins this year. That's what ? squads do. But yeah, a lot of that relies on Levis or Rudolph being the guy that helps this team take a step forward alongside Callahan.

When I saw this I immediately laughed like J Jonah Jameson.

First time head coach = total wild card. The team looks and feels 100% better on paper from last year, but we know what that's worth....

I remember being super angry when the Bills took Ed Oliver over Jeff Simmons that year. BUT Oliver has been a very solid starter and in hindsight when considering the cap, we probably wouldn’t have been able to retain Simmons like we did with Oliver. As a fan of the game and the business side of the game (I’m a business major 🤷🏻‍♂️) I can’t complain. Both players went where they should’ve gone.

GM Douglas has recognized and solved this weakness, and others, to the point where the Jets were drafting depth in the draft. What more would GM Douglas have to do to get the 2024 GMoY?

I've been clamoring all off-season on who on the Jets roster will be covering the athletic TEs, especially TE Kincaid, in 2024. So this W2 tilt might devolve into a shootout as the Jets have both WR weapons and are predicted to have a good running game too.

Yeah…I’d argue Nico is the best single receiver in the division. But as a unit, the Titans have the best. Diggs has regressed way more than Ridley and DHop. You’d be delusional to think Diggs is better at this stage. Dell will be better than Boyd in a year or two, just not atm.

As a KC guy living in TN, good luck with that thought Rich. Improved in some areas, esp with Sneed but they lack a proven QB that can take them to another level. Their mgmt, and esp ownership, are lacking as well. Time to adjust without Henry could take awhile too, they have to change their offense considerably without him as the focus. Regardless, it's KC for 3

Like the one where Pat made TN look silly running over and around them to score. Career highlight stuff there we see replayed often. Sounds like you don't keep up with TN enough to comment either. Adams and GMs like Robinson have made some dumb moves with draft and trades. Moving Brown to Philly, then he goes off, was brilliant. Drafting Malik was a miss, kept Tanneyhill far too long. Adams pushing Vrabel out was dumb as well. It's certainly not the most dysfunctional team but it's not great. Chiefs Kingdom loves the haters and doubters, keep it coming

Dude Vrabel fired the defensive coordinator after that AFC Title game because he didn't like the defense that Dean Pees threw out there that day. That's why Patrick mahomes had that long azz run. Vrabel led defenses had been good against them even CHIEFS Wire mentioned that so stop it bruh
