@Youdontride94 so that's a no you didn't watch? You are getting 3.1 more points a game with Wilson as your QB. Not more yards. Even the Steelers offense with Pickett put up more yards than the Wilson led Broncos. You are also getting 50+ sacks with Wilson and lots of garbage time stats. He won't even be the starter come 2025.

He threw 25 TDs in that season on 400 attempts in only 14 games(note: he was injured and rushed to come back to help his team). The following year Justin Herbert also threw 25 TDs but needed 699 attempts in 17 games to do so...never heard Rich talk about his career coming to a screeching halt. Russ’s VOLUME numbers have only been sliding because his coaching and rosters have been sliding. Look THAT up! Furthermore, do you know what HASN’T been sliding? His efficiency and accuracy. He has also shown that he still has the arm talent to hit anybody anywhere, especially on deep throws and in tight windows. In 2923, he completed 66% of his passes and had 4 of the 5 LEAST probable pass completions of the year. And he has been injured in two of the last three seasons. They weren’t debilitating injuries from wear and tear (age), they were from on-the-field trauma. If you want to make credible arguments, you need to show that you can at least acknowledge facts that may contradict your position and then demonstrate why those facts are irrelevant. *RUSS HAS BEEN INJURED, AND HIS ROSTERS OVER THE LAST FOUR SEASONS HAVE BEEN GARBAGE. PETE CARROLL AND NATHANAEL HACKETT WERE BOTH GARBAGE, AND SEAN PAYTON TRIED TO TANK.* Let’s remember something: in 2020-21 (just THREE years ago), Russ did have a bad squad, yet, he set multiple franchise records and personal highs, and dragged that team to a 12-4 record and a Division title. Again, that was basically three years ago. Andrew Luck hadn’t had a great season between 2015 and 2017, but everybody treated him like he was the sane superstar he had always been. He came back and had a great 2018, btw, but back to Russ… Offseason 2023-24 (current) Offseason 2022-23 (post Y1 in Denver) Offseason 2021-22 (post hand injury in Seattle) Offseason 2020-21 (12-4 record, 4,212 Yds, 40 TDs) Hence, it was only 3 years ago that Russ was coming off a record-setting season, a divisional title, and Pete Carroll’s bickering with Brian Schottenheimer over the offense, costing the Seahawks a legit SB run. It was less than that, the first 5 games of the 2021 season, when Russ was leading the NFL in passing with a 11:1 TD-INT ratio, a 70% Completion Rate, and an NFL best 128 Passer Rating before Aaron Donald injured Russ’s throwing hand, requiring surgery the next morning. Those are Aaron Rodgersesque stats! My point is that Russ is ostensibly 2 seasons removed from being the same MVP caliber player he had been his entire career. People need to get it right. Denver f*cked up Russ’s trajectory, and he never should’ve gone there. If Denver could do it all over again, I think they make a different hire instead of Nathaniel Hackett and still trade for Russ, but Russ wouldn’t come within 1,000 miles of Denver. The Broncos know they didn’t set Russ up for success. Even with Sean Payton’s barking about Russ “kissing babies” and trying to tank for the draft, the Broncos wanted to keep Russ around another year, which is why they asked and then attempted to coerce him to defer his injury guarantee for a year. Russ got benched because patron wanted to lose the final two games for draft position, and that wasn’t going to happen with Russ playing games. Russ is literally in Pittsburgh only because he refused to defer that guarantee for a year, which could’ve put the Broncos on the hook for $100M for one season. They clearly wanted to keep Russ for st least an additional year; otherwise, there would’ve been no reason to request that deferral. Fields is in Pittsburgh because he didn’t get the job done in Chicago and no one else was interested…not the other teams Fields wanted (i.e., Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Seattle).

the 2nd half schedule really isnt that bad. Almost 100% guarantee they go at worst 3-3 in division games and a good chance they split philly/KC. They have only had a losing division record 1 time with Tomlin as head coach. Biggest reason the AFC north is often referred to as the toughest division is because the steelers are in it.

They will get blown out, like usual. How are you going to get rid of your leading wide receiver and then replace him with a bunch of has beens? And then, to make things worse, you get rid of him for a guy who will more than likely be getting toasted out there at cb. Good job Omar khan. Excellent.

I like the schedule and think it’s favorable, even though that wasn’t the intention. It allows the Steelers to build momentum. Everybody needs to relax. Russ will probably play BETTER against the second half than he will the first half. That has been his pattern for most of his career. He plays his best football against his toughest opponents. It was even that way in Denver…BOTH years? So everybody just chill. 😎

Russ is going to kill it, and he has had tough schedules before. These talking heads don’t seem to realize that Russ plays his best football during his toughest schedules. He faced the Chiefs twice in 2022 within a month, and outplayed Mahomes in both games and nearly led the Broncos to upsets in both games. In fact, the Chiefs had to resort to a dirty play to knock him out of the game just to keep from being embarrassed by one of Russ’s classic game-winning drives at Arrowhead. These two are losers!

in truth, this schedule may have been a favor for the team. Half the season with a lighter schedule as the team gets its collective head around a no OC and QB room. Would you rather see the hard schedule early when the system is still new or would you like the team to have time to grow and learn one another to take on the final push? I say working having time for growth before the Division schedule my have been an interesting idea as I've seen lots of hot starts in the NFL end in a mess. Any one remember Philly last year????

The well will run dry eventually Steelers, your Coach and changing staff have been on the hot seat (by Steelers fans) Bad choice in making Wilson the starting QB in my opinion. That decision, will cost you the season, because it will be too late to recover from it come second half remainder of the season. But, no one really knows exactly how your coach will show his cards at first snap of your starting Quarterback Back.
