Was a student at Michigan in the 1980's when Harbaugh was QB. He lived a few houses away and was friends with my house mate. I came home from class one afternoon and he was sitting in my living room watching TV with my housemate. Another friend had Harbaugh in a class. He said Harbaugh was sitting behind him in the final, which was an essay test. He said Harbaugh was talking to himself and saying things like "First Question, DONE!..Next question!" He was intense back then too. Funny.

Never understood why Harbaugh was so weird… then I met his dad. Jack Harbaugh is like 80 years old and still has that same intense energy as Jim, maybe even more so

Rich is one of my favorites. He suffers without wavering for his loyalty as a fan to the Jets. Happy for his Wolverines. Plus, Harbaugh is the antithesis of the NCAA. Michigan is fighting the bully, here's to a win!!!

i mean i'm a Michigan fan so i'm biased lol but i'm also not a SEC hater but i couldn't agree with you more. i hated that era of college football when it was like the same 4-5 goddamn teams every year in the playoff. hopefully those days are over

I’m a Michigan fan but if we have to lose in a CFP Championship I would rather it be Washington than Georgia, Alabama, or Ohio St.. I like that there are two 14-0 teams in the CFP Championship who weren't expected to be there at the beginning of the season.

Rich, I love your show and miss it on broadcast T.V. Now that that is out of the way. I have been an avid Husky fan for the last 65 years, and have seen it all. These are two high quality teams and deserve all of the respect that each of them can get. If Michigan can run the ball down our throats, keep MIchael on the bench and have Michael have an off day, the Wolverines will win. If those things don''t happen, it could be a very long day in the office for the Wolverines. The Huskies are not afraid of anyone, they have been continually downgraded by the scribes, because they don't blow teams away, at least not after the first few games. How an undefeated team can continually be an underdog, especially to a team that before the Pac12 Championship game was playing a team that they had beaten twice in a row, once on their own field, and again with a team that we beat in the bowl game last year, and who had a loss to another team, beats me. By my count they were an underdog to six teams this season and lost not one of those games. So, being accounted as a serious underdog to an admittedly fine Michigan team is not of much consequence to the Huskies, it just produced excellent bulletin board fodder. I see this game as even, both teams have a fair chance at a victory and the loser should walk off the field with their heads held high. Both came into the game undefeated and met a fine team on the way. Hope to play you guys again regularly in the future. Maybe the Big ten will finally get a fine reputation, besides the Michigan and Ohio State teams. Oregon is coming, too. And they can be a real best, also.

I love hearing you wax poetic and gloat about Michigan.

If Jim leaves, Sherrone Moore deserves the job.... give credit where credit is due

This Michigan defense over the last three seasons is built to beat a highly potent pass attack. It was put in place to beat ohio over the last three years. It really helps to have a STOUT and fresh DL to put a running attack in its place. I think Washington still puts up, at bare minimum, 21 points against this defense. I do think Michigan scores 28 to 34 points... MICHIGAN 31 WASHINGTON 27

Oddly, Im not nervous about this one. WA is the same team that the Stroud OSU teams have been except they have no defense. Michigan doesnt need to get too creative with offense, just run the ball, control the clock and keep WA O off the field. This is Minter's game to win

I'm a Michigan fan and I've got the exact opposition reaction: Washington is literally the only team that scares me😂 Iowa, Maryland, Penn State, OSU, MSU, Alabama, NONE of them made me nervous. But Washington's offense is just the ultimate spear. They're good for 35 points a game regardless of the opposing defense. And their defense has played surprisingly well the last 3-4 weeks. You're right that it's Minter's game to win because idk if Michigan can compete in a shootout. Certainly a game for the ages and an incredible introduction for an upcoming B1G rivalry between these two programs. Go Blue〽️🤞

⁠@@leehurst172They’re good for 35 points regardless of the opponent? They scored only 15 on Arizona State, 22 on Oregon State, and 24 on Washington State. They haven’t faced a defense anywhere near Michigan’s level. I’m not saying this game is a slam dunk, but I do think you’re overestimating this one opponent. Should be a good game and Michigan should definitely have the upper hand.

The “it just means more” crap has been killing me all December! I live in Tennessee so I hear / see it non stop. And EVERY SINGLE time a big ten team from the upper tier plays a SEC everyone talks about how they have no shot . The lone exception was when everyone was shocked by osu in 2014. But to finally be able to shut everyone up and us fans can walk ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY at this moment and NO ONE can say a word ..it’s glorious !! One more game !!!
