When I was little, I thought i needed to grow up and watch the news...so Id watch these two on ESPN. Love these two!

I agree with Joel Klatt, the more you know about football, the more you understand how little this impacted the game and the less you know about football, the more you inflate the impact of Connor Stallions.

Funny Dan never mentions OSU being investigated for offering to share Maryland's practice video with SMU. Or, the OSU players are being given unauthorized access to all of the other BIG 10 teams' practice videos. You only hear about Michigan...wonder if the NCAA has anything to do with that?

There's so much out there that is never reported. This alleged violation -- and the evidence so far is lacking -- is the equivalent of being one of ten cards going 20 MPH over the speed limit and you being the only one stopped by the cops. Funny how nobody calls Georgia cheaters even though most people close to and in college football know that Kirby Smart bought those teams pre-NIL. Somehow, paying for better players does not result in Georgia being called "cheaters" but sign stealing by Michigan (which is legal) makes them "cheaters."

Can confirm that Georgia recruiting does not follow the rules, neither pre NIL or current. Check out recruitment of Isaiah Wilson-don’t have first hand knowledge of that one, but there is lots and lots of smoke around that one. I do have first hand of knowledge of another however. Also, Rashan Gary was offered 200k by Clemson-google Jim Hackett (U of M AD at the time) and Rashan

Listening to Rich Eisen try to justify Michigan cheating was sad - because you can’t point to plays where the cheating helped the team somehow makes the cheating less wrong is ridiculous. I expected more from him. Once again, Dan’s professionalism really came through. Go Dan!

Michigan / Harbaugh were targeted by the NCAA due to the fact that Harbaugh is a proponent for revenue sharing of which the NCAA is opposed...that's how all these BS controversies came about...had Harbaugh shut up about revenue sharing and went along with the NCAA none of those allegations would have ever been brought up...the NCAA hates Harbaugh...Period!!!

Describe the cheating. Pinpoint the rule that was broken and what part of that rule was broken. Explain how it was broken and specify the evidence demonstrating that it was broken. And once you do that, show us how Michigan benefitted and how what is, at worst, a Level 4 violation is one that must lead to the "cheaters" nonsense. If you need to yell "cheaters" you think like a 5-year-old. You got nothing.

@@gmh471 Exactly. At the end of the day, folks can cry all they want. And for the record, he sat out those final games because the commissioner was a coward. Instead of doing a thorough investigation, etc., he cowered to the other coaches. If the Big Ten's investigation was completed at the same time as the NCAA's, and then the penalty/suspension was issued, that would have been the way to go.

How about a compromise. UM cheated during the cupcake schedule and beat the heck out of the tough teams and won the title in the playoffs. So how about 8-0 undefeated. Does a season where they Beat PSU on the road, OSU at home, Maryland on the road, Iowa in the Big Ten title game, Bama and Wash on neutral site. Is this enough to claim a title? Think about it. OSU, Bama, Iowa, Maryland, Wash, PSU were ALL bowl teams. 3 of those teams were in their conference title game. 2 of them (Bama and Wash) beat Georgia who won the OB (albeit up against FSU who wasn't at full strength) and Washington who beat Texas and Oregon, who also won their bowl game. Seems to me like a formidable schedule. Your thoughts? Final Rankings 1. Michigan 2. Washington 3. Texas. 4. Georgia 5. Alabama 6. Oregon 6. FSU 8. Missouri 9. Ole Miss 10. Ohio State So by my calculations, UM still needs to beat Missouri and Ole Miss make it legitimate. :)

Deflategate made little difference. The constant cheating by Belicheat i.e. Spygate, headsets randomly not working, terrible conditions in the visiting locker room and fans constantly setting off fire alarms in the visiting teams hotel, plus the million other things that have never been brought up or caught made way more of an impact.

What a crap argument Eisen makes about Michigan sign stealing “probably making no difference” and “it’s unusable video”. If all that was true, then Conner Stallions would’ve been cut loose the first year. Everybody tries to portray him as this hanger-on loser…Well, he sure seemed to be a frequent sideline visitor and also had the ear of Michigan coordinators for years. Having said that, congrats to Michigan, you were the best team this year. I guess time will tell the final verdict.

And you are way off base with your criticism of Michigan with no proof that Harbaugh knew it was going on & if this benefited the team at all! Harbaugh had a reset after the "pandemic". He knew he had to change the way he was running the program. He hired younger coaches & changed his approach! Come on man, get off the tainted season crap!
