Basmati Rice w/Cashews vs. Scrambled Egg
While one seemed to like picking the cashews out of the basmati rice, the egg was the clear winner.

I regularly make scrambled eggs without salt for my feathered friends. Crows and magpies both like it. The local magpies prefer cashews, and the crows take the peanuts first. I don't give them food with spices. They would certainly take it, but I think it's better without spices.

If they're eating leftovers, they get the seasonings... but sometimes, to the dismay of others around me, I cook just for them. I got up one morning and made (bland version) spaghetti and meatballs (video to come; I've been working too much) and some folks got a little jealous.... I totally agree with you that it's better without if it's just for them. And I always google what might be toxic (surprise: yogurt) before setting it out for experimentation. Thanks for the tips. Keep doing awesome stuff!

@@YardVentures No yogurt, thanks for the info. This is interesting, and I found further explanations on corvid isle. They write that lactose is bad for corvids (and products for lactose intolerant humans are even worse.)
