Do you know why? When I looked it up, the internet indicated that birds should only have dog food as a rare treat, not a regular part of their diet. Frequent feeding could lead to health issues due to nutritional differences, probably because it’s not nutritionally dense, but probably filling. As you can see, this family’s diet is anything but regular! They spend hours foraging bugs in the yard. I do look up everything before offering. I was surprised to find that avocados are toxic to birds! Thanks for the guidance.
